    Tmax is not for the ones who have a sportbike and want to comute,those are buying smaller inexpensive scooters,as the need for adrenaline is fullfilled by the bike. Tmax is for those who already tried many motorcycles,from supersport to cruisers and found the ballance between them.

    I had a TMAX several years ago and I loved it. Handled great. I put 14 K miles on it in 3 years. Fun fun to ride.

    The 2016 tmax 530 is the best one ever. Iconic scooter. So, so hard to find one in the USA.

    Great videos. Nice to see someone having so much fun. I’ve been looking at the TMax to replace my Vespa 200L. The Vespa will do 70 mph (I’m in the US) so it will keep up with traffic. The ones I’ve seen cost as much as a nice used Triumph. Still considering buying one. Scooters are not popular here. I do use mine to pick up some groceries when I don’t feel like driving the car.

    I agree a good looking scooter. If I lived in one of Europe's capital cities I would happily use one to get around. Handles the twisties lovely too. Cheers.

    Hi Cager! Have a look at next year redesign of this bike. It is MEGA! The equipment level on upcoming T-Max DX is astonishing. I want one badly. I think I'll be trading in my Forza 125 in about a year from now.

    Thanks for the review cajer! I am one of the commuters you mention who doesn't really want two bikes. I need something with power, wind protection, economy, agility and something which offers fun on the way to work. It would be a honda integra 750d for me though although shame it still doesn't have any under seat storage yet. The t-max gets stolen quite a lot in London and they do less mpg than 750d. I had a yamaha majesty 400 for a few months it's like a posh xmax. But this tmax is a twin cylinder engine hence better performance as you mentioned. Thanks again.

    Have you seen locally, the New Honda X-ADV Adventure Scooter. It is based on the NC700X. But it has New frame specific to the X-ADV. I would like to see you review it if you have some time.

      In the mean time take a look at the BMW C650 much better bike for the money and you get far more. I own one and met people with the T-Max 530 and they always soon realised which is better in favour of the BMW.

    • @bgurg
      @bgurg 8 лет назад +4

      I tried both and the BMW did not feel as nimble as the T-Max. The BMW did have some nice bells & whistles though. Personally, I still prefer the T-Max.

      Its about fuel economy and the easy of use for those who use to ride a manual, but want to just give it the throttle and it takes off. Simple.

    • @gyurxi551
      @gyurxi551 6 лет назад +1

      AN650 is heavy and because of the bigger wheelbase it is not good in the city. For touring it is ok. For city the AN400 or Majesty400 are better.

    you don't mention the CVT transmission, so I guess it's not a bit issue. The Integra though has DCT transmission which at least makes it sound like a bike.

    If it's designed anything like the Yamaha Majesty 400, just wait until you have to access the motor.
    Did they learn not to put the air intake down near the bottom of the rear tire like they have on the Majesty?

  • @Nahduge
    @Nahduge 8 лет назад

    how about the handling of the tmax vs the nc700x? I have a 2013 nc700x dct version so I guess its very very similar in terms of twist-and-go riding, storage, etc. But the tmax looks so good I may want to change to it.

    I have a Tmax because I have leg issues and I need to have one leg extended and one leg in motorcycle position to be comfortable..I have owned 37 motorcycles and a Tmax and t max is as good fun as any motorcycle and hugely practical. The fact it is a scooter is irrelevant to me.it rides like a normal bike!!

    • @vilnz
      @vilnz 7 лет назад +1

      This really is the question for me too. I wonder, is cornering and leanage really so mutch better on T-max compared to Integra?

    • @johnfordtanzo3029
      @johnfordtanzo3029 7 лет назад

      actually the cornering and leanage of the bike depends on how wide their tires are... :D

  • @matteo.bassini5819
    @matteo.bassini5819 8 лет назад +1

    But why don't those people just get an NC750x? The NC is faster, has better ground clearance, can choose between semi-auto and full-auto, and it is cheaper!

    • @louieleung4375
      @louieleung4375 7 лет назад +3

      Matteo have you drive the tmax ?the nc750 is slower in the corners and the brakes are so weak and the frame is weak,and the NC750 deprecates a lot but the tmax has none of these problems

    • @louieleung4375
      @louieleung4375 7 лет назад +1

      and also the tmax 100-185km/h acceleration is a lot faster than nc750,the tmax has 530cc which produces 46.5ps ,the nc750 makes 54 out of a 750cc ,what a laugh hahahahahaha

      CagerOnTwoWheels The problem isnt "11000" the problem is "second".
      Dont understand why you think people drive it as a second bike. I would rather think they drive it as their main/first bike. And a less daily driver, suitable bike as second bike.

      It wouldn't be so bad if it was lighter or cost 4000€ less...think about it. 12000€ for a beast of a scooter which does not have the agility of something smaller nor the performance of a proper motorbike.

    • @ventisette.
      @ventisette. 8 лет назад +1

      And most people who buy them are absolute douches, at least here in Italy. They act like they have a superbike when they really have a boat on wheels that gets its ass kicked by a RS125.
