2:08 If you want to know how many bikes you should have, the formula is P=X+1.
P is the perfect number of bikes for you, and X is the number of bikes you currently own.
Therefore you always need just one more. 😁
Q : How many bikes does a rider need ?
A : JUST one more ...
Thank you for this formula. I know what to do now. But.. now I can't fit in my house, it's full of bikes!
@@somethingelse9535 That's not a problem, that's paradise. 😁
😂 Exactly 🎉
1. For Daily commute (Non-clutch or cvt bike for enjoying ride in traffic jam)
2. Touring Bike - DCT gearbox.. (Long disctance/Balik kampung)
3. Scrambler/dirt for sport activity
Been riding a Tmax530DX for past 4 yrs. Used it for daily commuting in Sg, several trips to MY (mostly Malacca) and a trip to Betong TH. This maxi scooter is great for relax touring with it's setup and accessories, which is what it was designed for. Being a 530cc, it weighs almost as much as my previous bike, Varadero XLV1000 but only produces half of the power which is logical (half the cc, half the power). It will never be able to match the 'fast and furious' touring but it was not designed to do that in the 1st place. My riding friends were accommodating to me as they understand my scooter and my absence from riding for 15yrs. They took turns to be sweeper so I would not be left behind while they still have fun with their need for speed and clear some carbon. Riding to your destination with this scooter in a comfortable and relaxing pace while enjoying the scenery is what it's designed for, with a little bit of oomph for that short burst of acceleration. A great scoot for relax touring and daily commute!
I wanted one bike to do everything with, so I opted for the Honda XADV 750. The TMAX was a VERY close second but Honda won me over eventually
Getting my Forza 750 next week, chosen over the tmax and xadv.
I also rode all three, I’m sticking to my second Tmax as I like its lighter front end. After Superbikes and almost most BMW’s all these Scooters are so comfortable , like a mini RT !
How many CC's is the Yamaha Tmax ? A Honda 750 scooter sounds like heaven.
I think the motorcycle type drive train makes the Honda Forza 750 or X ADV more suitable for long distance touring. Both fantastic bikes though.
@@ArmadilloGodzilla Exactly my current situation - I am leaning to Forza 750. Could you please share your experience with it?
Hay Mate, you are the only Asian rider who is on You tube doing videos in English. Great lovely video. I am from Aussie. I have a 2023 TMAX Teck max 560. I need to know where the Turn signal relay is located. Can you help me please?
If only there’s a Adv version of Tmax with higher handlebar and longer suspension travel.. That will be interesting.. Hope Yamaha will make it oneday.
adv 750 ?
@@josean123 That is Dct..different breed.
The beach you stop before Pekan is sg api api. There was jambatan sg api api at the sharp bend there.
for your future rides make sure to park your bike in safe area, nowadays in MY got so many brake caliper theft happening
Aiyah, just fixed a special nut to it...

Is this available in USA ? I am 55 years old, own a scooter, and two big bikes that get neglected because all I do is ride the scooter. I think I'm gonna trade in the bikes for a scooter. I LOVE them because they just feel right, they are FUN, quirky, and everywhere I go people want to ask me about my Honda Elite 250, but I need a BIG scooter. - Mike from California.
terima kasih kerana menggunakan ron97 ketika mengisi minyak. terima kasih juga kerana menghormati hak rakyat orang Malaysia. 😊
Thank you for the welcome! 🥰
4:03 is what half of motorcycling is about, it's the friends you meet and connect with over two wheels, and then meals on the ride. "The taste brings back memories, not of the taste, but of the friends I brought here."
Love my T Max 560 . I have had 9 over the years since 2001 when they first came to the uk . My garage has a T Max a BMW R1250 GSA and a 2006 Harley Fat Boy . . Each one does something different to my little mind 😎. A nice ride on yours thanks for that
I’m similar to you, I have TMax 560, KTM 1290 SAS and a HD Lowrider ST
Awesome content. Great video and great review. I am in love with the XMax, but the TMax is an amazing machine.
Its fine having more than 1 bike, as long you using them. I have three bikes. Aerox 155 for commuting and work, ER6N for long distance touring, Z800 for city ride (not commuting / daily ride). I also own a Yaris for family. Before, i had Versys X and CBR1000 along with Aerox 155
More touring videos please! I love this
Good combo for me is, Kapcai: Sniper V1(MUST be V1) + Adventure: RE Himalayan 411(Cause analog gauge) or AT, maybe a KTM or BMW GS (preferably 1250GS, but idk yet). and definitely NO AUTO, yes is easier to ride but no fun for me.
Honestly having one that can do everything would be great, chenille own an old KTM 390 Duke that's a jack of all traits. But I'll try and be realistic:
Inner city commute scooter.
Fun Naked/ Sport Bike.
Long distance touring cruiser.
I would want a Tracer 9 GT for long distance rides, MT-09 for city riding, and R1M as a weekend bike.
No Tmax in your list? 🤔🤣🤣Winston
@@tri333ple Sadly not into scooters🥲 But I might consider Xmax😁
My dream bike is an wave 125 for short distance and going to work due to cheap maintenance and installments & a xadv 750 for touring and weekends ride
i own a R9T and a moped (for city ride) but im looking for a dirt bike to ride in a single trail and probably an adventure bike like GS, the R9T is not suitable for long distance travel, maybe i will trade my R9T for a Harley...never ride a harley style motorcycle before.
Can compare Tech-Max 560 and also Ak550 Premium.. Would love to see that from you guys..
Fantastic video!!!! Whats your opinion about Honda forza/adv 350 compared to Yamaha X max 300 ?
Greetings from Greece/Corfu
Included USB port can’t charge device, cos meant for diagnostic.
Can you tell me where you rewrap your seat please?
It's done at juzzwheel
Honda African twin,honda XADV,vespa, and vmax,bmw s1000 street
2 bikes ofcoz, one for touring like Xadv or DCT africa Twin. Another would be my trusty aerox that i have now 😅
thanks bro
Thanks for the review. Being from America and my last bike was a Honda CBR-1100XX do you think I will be disappointed with the TMax performance and might like the Honda X ADV750 better? I’m in the Philippines now.
It's 2 different classes of bikes to begin with. If you are expecting the torque to be close to cbr1100xx, then I would say yes, you will be disappointed. But if you compare the handling of tmax, you will be surprised with the tmax. If high torque is what you are looking for in a scooter, then xadv might suit you better. Winston
Beautifull bike i like it and i love it
My top 5 bike choices:
1) Yamaha Nmax - for short travels go wet market kind
2) Honda CB400SF - Enjoyable rides to work or rides across Singapore. Low centre of gravity for maneuverability and enough power to overtake, but not too much power to tire out whilst splitting CTE
3) BMW GS - for northbound touring to Hatyai and above. Tall and slim-ish profile compared to FJR, GoldWing and the like, perfect for splitting at high speeds. Will change to Road 6 tyres for maximum pleasure for road touring.
4) Ducati V4R - essential sports bike to play and speed around, weekend bike
5) PMD Fiido - to blast music at 3am whilst doing Grab delivery 😂
Amazing bike but us not fir tall rider. I'm 190cm and I'm trying that bike... but T Max is too small for me.
How do you guys mount your gopros to your helmets?
We use Chin Mounts.
Your bike up for sale at Carousell?
Winston's is always itching for his next bike from his want list. Lol
Hi, what brand do you buy for ur top box ?
It's a unbranded plastic top box from China.
Hi what do u use to mount your insta360 and handphone ?
I use ulanzi clamp for the 360cam. The phone mount is a regular holder phone holder with finger grip. Winston
@@tri333ple thank you
Could you share where do you service your tmax? cheers!
Black industry at synergy
Best combination for me would be a sports bike + a maxi scooter
How about adventure tourer?😅Winston
Most curious How t-max will compare to a honda silverwing the ultimate tourer. Anyone Have these 2 before pls comment.Tks
Dream combi.. v4s and xadv
2 bike for me enough alrdy Haha 1 for work daily commute 1 for touring :). Me.happy liao
Dream combi
S1k speed runs
Xmax daily
Mt07 wheelie fun
Xsr900 chick magnet
R6 track
How about adding an adventure touring bike to your dream list? 😅Winston
@@tri333plescrap the r6, ill put in a tenere 700
I would swap MT07 for hypermotard and xsr900 to triumph rocket 3
@@Aahbozz2 ooo interesting i like that motard swap, but would like to try the crossplane on the xsr tho
Agree it always good to have more than 1 bike😂😂😂 pleas tell that to my wife can😂😂😂😂😂
when money is not the issue, but your partner is. hahaha
The driver of the white car at 1:30 needs an attitude adjustment
Just brought our friend tmax thru off-road at takah pengkoi waterfall.. pass
😱😱Did the bike survive?
@@tri333ple survived bro..
Another unknown capability of the Tmax?😂
@@tri333ple hahaha but he tried at takah pengkoi uh.. easy gravel one haha not hardcore. If hardcore i think he bring back hamdlebar only
Hahaha
Did I hear you say "it helps in the selit-ting in the morning traffic"? 😂 06:06
That's the most multi-racial word I've heard 🤣
Yes you heard right Hahaha
Should add full sys LV exhaust. Sounds like orgasm!
Haven't heard 1 yet. Bassy or sharp tone?
1:34 What the hell?
N+1 logic 😂😂
Why dont women get why we need more than one bike, when they have 100s of shoes and handbags. I tell mine, it's either more bikes or more women. She understands 😅
😮In Malaysia scooter are taking over.. big biker went to tmax adv750 and even kapchai biker went to xmax nmax adv160
I travelled from UK down through Portugal and Spain to Gibraltar to see the African coast and back again. The TMax is an awesome SOLO tourer, with 2 ppl, not enough luggage space.
whaaat?? you did all this trip on tmax?? how was it for you??
i like the comparison of overtaking cars. gives me an expectation riding on the main road. thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching.🥰
Tread carefully bro. When you compare handbags with moto to your wife. 😁😁😁
Currently have a vitpilen 401 and a cbr600f, i need a tourer, maybe a quad and a scooter then I'm set. Oh and an Enduro. And a project bike. And a mini bike... and...
I have a tmax and love the luxury and how it rides.
Bud the negative off yamaha is this . Brake disk still rusting so no rvs.
And maintenance is expensive and it uses way to much gasoline.
Honda is way better in all those things.
So my tmax is going out and replace it wih a new honda .
The problems with a honda are always the back springs, there horrible. On like the pcx, the forza and alot off scooters.
As i am a professional motorcycle mecanic i will do a complaint to honda.
Besides that, honda is still number one in the motorcycle world.
And keep in mind that in the scooter world.
Honda makes everything them selves and it,s great.
Piaggio is is second i say as a mecanic.
Then yamaha.
Then something every one should now.
A bmw scooter and Kawasaki scooter ,the engine is made by kymco,
Kymco is from honda so you get old Technic from honda on your bmw ore Kawasaki scooter.
Thats why honda is using the lowest full consumption.
Back in 2008 I took my Yamaha Majesty 400cc maxiscooter on a solo trip through 2 Canadian Provinces and 24 US States, from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Camping along the way. Total trip was 17463 km (10478) mi. Everything on the scoot was standard equipment. The only exception was that I made a backrest to ease long distance backaches. It was an incredibly personal journey. Absolutely no mechanical failures whatsoever. I did this at the age of 70 years old.
did a long trip with a 2009 Tmax from the Netherlands to Chech Republic and 2200km in a long weekend and performed perfectly well, last day did direct in one go 950km was physically tough but perfectly doable on the Autobahn at 140/150km/h average. Only issue is that i don't find the Tmax very economical or comfortable. Better with a BMW C650GT definitely for long highway driving.
Get a nice exhaust system like Termignoni and you'll be good to go. I put that system on my 2024 Tmax Techmax and I couldn't be happier.
My dream list:
Aerox for short rides
CB400SF for longer commute
R1250GS for touring
Ducati V4S for track
i agree with you different kind of riding needs different kind of bike for example you wouldn't take an R1 offroading and you wouldn't really take aa Vstrom to the race track. Not that it is not possible but you will not get the best out of your bike.
But i also haave to say this is similar for bags even me being a man i got a small bag and pouch collection all from the brand maxpedition
Good combo = Concours GT/K1600/Goldwing + Burgman 200/Tmax
With regard to handbags, my wife's motto is "Just one more".
I dont think they are sold in the US.😢
Bought a manual 2a, but I already miss my scooter. Maybe a cruisym 300 next time.
While I like the original blue, the champagne wrap also looks amazing. If I get a black TMAX, i may wrap it in a nicer colour.
damn a vespa and tmax would be nice, some off terrain bike like klx , touring bike like eliminator and a weekend super sport 600cc , yep just about right lol
for me AT1000L (2019) & XADV750 (2019) is my best combo.......
Currentl riding RE Classic 350, I would love to add the new Kawasaki Meguro K3 to my lineup so bad 😭
I thought Malaysia uses KM, but why the average distance here counted in Miles
Luckily, she didn't mention how many wife/gf you want. 😂
Hi, how about Yamaha Xmax for touring to Malaysia?
Yes i agree. Nothing but the max. Tmax forever 😌
anyone know how to mount that mirror with heavy bar end?
One GS one NMAX
I have the combo you listed except for the maxi scooter haha.
If money were no issue for me, I would opt for an Africa Twin for my adventures, a kapcai or scooter for daily use, and of course, a family car.
Ohh yes!! Family car for the family👍
20.5KM per Liter? Either the calculation is wrong or the TMAX has a technical issue. The smaller scooters range between 30 and 39 kilometres per litre, so 3.3 - 2.5 litres per 100 km travelled. Most are between 36 and 38 kilometres per litre.
560 has better economy
Actually it's abt there, I ride the 2022 560 about 20-21km/l. If on nshw, riding average 140-150kmh will give about 15-17km/l
where was the wrapping done? and the damage?
It's done at Juzzwheel. Costing varies and depends on the type of material that you choose. Winston
Why do we need heated seats and grips in our oven climate? LOL
Heated seats and grips are truly wonderful when it rains
When you tour and suddenly monsoon comes, heated grips will make everything better
Change exhuast for TMAX! Sound great!
Which exhaust sounds the best? I prefer bassy type
Winston
@@tri333pleI would love to recommend you Akrapovic for bassy sound. I'm using it for my Versys. My eardrum really love it 😅
1. Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE
(For touring and long distance)
2. Honda NC750 X
(A man's "Vespa" and for comuting)
3. TRIUMPH T120
(For the heart and for good memories )
4. Moto Guzzi Stelvio
(May be soon after my test ride ... )
