- Merridith Nunley, 38, is charged with the murder of her ex-husband, 55-year-old David Nunley. She told police she shot David after finding out he was talking to an "illegal woman," according to the affidavit.

My abusive ex moved into my spare room over a little over a year ago. We had a silver divorce. It was to help him get back on his feet and he was supposed to be out this past March. But as usual he's always broke although he works full time and pays no rent. I've been buying the groceries and can't get him out. He falsely acts like we are still married expecting me to be his mommy as he dates women younger than our daughter. I tried dating 8 years after our divorce and he attacked me from behind striking me upside my head causing a stroke and inopperable blood clot. The young women he dates are just using him for his paycheck and he's in denial. Abusive narsasist can't handle growing old and they think once you marry they own you.

Also, I think it's worth noting that there was no adultery in this story. They were a divorced pair that still resided in the same residence.
