- Hey guys! I finally was able to get my hands on the infamous Ktuner! I grabbed the phearable tune with it as well. Would I say it's worth it? Yes!
Here's the link for the:
Ktuner V1.2 with Phearable Tune

Ktuner V2 with Phearable Tune
www.phearable.n...
Remember to check if your ECU is compatible with the tune! It's located right beside of your intake box. It's going to be hard to see it so you would need your phone to look at it/ take a pic of it.
If you have any questions, DM me on instagram!

Have a blessed day!
Show us around your whole car mod list, exterior/interior. whip looks fire on your WP. Debating on which color to buy in the summer!
Will do! I recently just broke my lip so i’m waiting on that again 😅 also once i get my aeros and install them too
Congrats on the tune upgrade! Man I wish I could tune my car but I have extended warranty on it. The only performance upgrade I can do is a Cold Air Intake.
I feel you! But i never had warranty on my car since day one so i went on full send! Little by little and you’ll get what you want 🤙🏽🔥
Same here.. ;( I really want to get a ktuner
Try suspension mods, did a bunch of suspension stuff exhuast and air intake on my 17 hatch makes it much more fun and honda didnt care as long as i didnt touch the engine
i’ve looked into this a bunch, and chances are they won’t check if you tuned it. it you remove the tune and flash it back to stock before bringing it in to the dealer, you should be ok. if they do check the last time a tune was flashed you can play dumb. they can’t void the warranty unless they can prove the tune or mod was the direct cause, and if they can’t prove/don’t know if you had a tune they can’t do anything.
I said fuck it and did everything anyways lol. My car so why not..
It's even better with the 6 speed my 2018 lx hatch is a beast. love phearable
Wish i got a 6 SPD but i was in a hurry for a new car. Regardless, love these gen hondas!
Hey Chad - I have a 2018 LX 6 speed Hatchback - so exactly what should I get to tune it? Hondata? Ktuner? Thanks man, I need to learn so help me out.
I have ktuner v2 i bought it from phearables website directly but either is fine
i got the stage 2 tune on my type r and i’m making around 400whp and that thing moves hits 120 like it’s nothing
You're gonna want to get a Transmission cooler, and or run Amsoil CVT. At minimum.
I just uploaded my phearable tune so smooth. I have a si swapped fk7
I'm thinking about going full bolt on my 2021 civic sport, as opposed buying an si, but I was wondering how reliable the cvt transmission and the car as a whole has been for you. Have you run into any service problems? How many miles have you drove since the tuning?
This is what I want to know lol
CVT tends to overheat that's why it recommends to put a CVT cooler and maintenance for cvt oil also every 5-10k mi it depends how you drive your car, since cvt can't handle 300hp.
@@stevenleyson728 damn kinda makes it not worth the effort thank you for replying really appreciate the insight
@@EARTHSOUL_Asm i’m building a EX-L 2020 civic i already put CCAI and Muffler Delete and it rocks solid, already put a lot of work on my cvt’s i might go change it sooner since i got the car second hand.
@@stevenleyson728 are you thinking about tuning it? You invested in a cvt cooler? I have a stock 20 sport wanted to get the ktuner but so many mixed reviews on realibility
Cvt with the katana shifter 🤣🤣 i love my cvt but idk if id put a shift knob on it lol thats great
To each their own ! Had this since i had my 8th gen so it’s memorable for me
@@DracoAzul dats cool, my jdm friends would just laugh at me too much, only reason for not putting a katana on lol
@@DracoAzul that's cool then
I want to go back to the old days, because I miss you 😆. I was like WTF is going on? Do I have two videos playing?
I’m getting my k tuner this week n I’m so excited
Damn damn damn!! 👍
Love the vlog
yo how do you like the tune now that you've had it for a few months now
Amazing video. But I got a quick question. How did you get rid of the warnings such as the lane mitigation and auto high beam Bc I uploaded a tune to mine and reflashed back to stock hoping those warning would be gone. Help or any advice would be much appreciated.
Warnings should be removed when driving around 10 miles to 30 miles depends. I’m having issues with Honda Sensing and trying to find a solution for it. Will be posting a video for Honda Sensing malfunctions whenever I solve it!
I have a question so i bought a regular ktuner v2.0 and im using the base map so far. But i wanted to add a phearable tune on my ktuner. Is it possible to add that to my ktuner?
Quick question my man, did the tune have any effects on your mpg?
it does but not by much
great video! What’s the different between the 1.2 and the 2.0 besides the screen?
Thank you! The major difference between the two is your ability to change tunes (ie. TSP to Phearable) with the device. I haven’t played around with the 1.2 so i’m not sure you can do it there
@@DracoAzul you can switch tunes with the v1.2 but you need tunerview app on an android device. the screen is important for cvts as it show cvt temp and thats the most important thing on a tuned cvt civic. that and knock count
So the phearable tune is better than the regular tune that ktuner would come with?
I’ve never used Ktuner’s base maps but judging from their PSI maps, 21 PSI Ktuner vs 24 PSI Phearable. Not sure the difference but Phearable is buttery smooth !
Do your CEL stay on after the tune.
U did it with your car without modding?
Great job.
So it’s recommended also do get a transmission cooler for a 2.0 engine as well ? Honda civic sport 2019
How is it holding up now?
Nice toon!!!
Asian God
Sí señor
U should try changin the camera angle interior if we see the road :)
Do you always have to switch maps from the steering wheel?
Is there any alternative?
Do u think ur transmission is gonna blow? And if u think it is why ?
Phearable worth it!?
10/10!
@dracoazul Update? Did you ever get around to that swap?? I must know!
Which hatch do you have? I’ve got the civic hatch Lx will it work with my car?
Yes sir, I also have the LX hatch!
@@DracoAzul what is exhaust do you have it looks dope
@@xmarqeepandax on this video, i have a muffler delete + ultra quiet resonator. On my recent vids, i have full straight pipe with catless downpipe. Extremely loud!
Hey, have a link to the Katana shifter? Looking for a new shift knob but can't find any with a button.
Sadly the manufacturer discontinued these shifters so i don’t really know where to get them anymore
so do you think (from ur experience so far) that the phearbale cvt tune is reliable?
If you keep the first map as your daily, it’ll definitely be reliable. It improves your gas mileage as well !
@@DracoAzul id probably leave mine on 2/3 lol. the cvts arent thar fragile
Hey I have the Honda Civic Sport 2019 (same car) but I was thinking of doing V2 of K-Tune do you know if you can get Phearable with that? or where/how did you order the Phearable tune with the K-tune?
Absolutely! You can get either V1, V1.2 or V2 with phearable on their website ( phearable.net) and get the tune for free!
Hey bro, I'm planning on buying this on phearable site. For calibration option and MAF housing, what should I choose? Please help
If you’re on stock MAF (stock airbox intake) you should be stock MAF housing. If you have an upgraded one that’s from a reputable brand (PRL or 27WON) they both have their MAF sensors as either Street or Race MAF. Which car do you have?
will ktuner work for a 2019 honda civic lx?
Only thing is running that 93+😫
Hey man are you half Filipino?
For a fresh 2020 CVT Turbo version, should I first tune the car or have it set-up with intake and intercooler prior to tuning?
Yessirr, Pinoy here! Tune would be my first move since it wakes up the car more than it should. I would suggest buying engine modifications and installing them all at once and get it retuned by a custom tune
@@DracoAzul Sabi na eh! Planning on buying Civic RS Turbo within this year, wala kasing hatch SI dito sa Pinas. Having second thoughts on reliability of CVT after tuning(kasi for sure itutune ko sya, wouldn't be able to resist the temptation haha), since more than a year na yung sayo, how is yours doing?
Also by engine mods you mean intake, downpipe and intercoolers?
@@zen_dl sorry late, busy sa trabaho haha pero with phearable, it’s reliable i would say. I haven’t driven much on it (had it 11K miles and i have 14.5K rn) and my cvt is still holding up! I would recommend 6SPD tho for full potential of the tune kasi parang laggy ung cvt. Love this car for a show car look tho definitely
@@zen_dl and engine mods (FBO) are intercooler, intake, flex fuel, full exhaust, tune, and 27WON turbo (if you count that)
*PLEASE NOTE: For Off-Road Race Use At Sanctioned Events Only.
LOL
How’s the cvt holding up???
Where did you get your CVT shifter at?
I had the katana from my old civic but made an adapter for it for this civic. I forgot where i got the katana from
How much hp & to the wheel u making?
noice vlog
Thank you 🙏🏽💙
sup kabayan will it work with a PRL shortram intake?
What’s good bro, my recent vid is about the SRI !
That katana shifter is gnarly af bro! Fucking badass
Did you need a downpipe to run this tune?
Recommended but no u don’t need it
Got any update after a few months? Did you have any problems so far?
Will do an update video once 6 months hit
About how much hp does it give? I have a 2020 civic hatchback too, but never done any tune on it yet. I've been thinking about getting a Ktuner for a while.
Its worth it! I cant speak for the exact horsepower gains, but I have a 2017 EX turbo. I did one of the ktuner tunes to boost turbo psi and also the launch a little bit. It made a significant difference. If your civic has the turbo engine I would definitely reccomend it
Mines is an LX (Base) so it went from 174 HP to 220 HP 265 TQ as said on the tune but i’m thinking it’s pushing 208 - 210 HP 260 TQ on 24 PSI. It’s 100% worth it and its a night and day difference!
Do you wanna race?
Line it up 🤣
So no cruise control or anti-collision stuff works after a tune? Don’t really want to lose that stuff.
I’ll discuss every problems I have occurred for a year. I want to give you guys a transparent review!
CANT I DOWNLOAD KTUNER FOR FREE?
can u make a video doing pulls and stuff
Will do a youtube short for that once i get a gopro!
Why is ur honda not a push start?
LX life babyyy
Nice blog bro how much did this cost
Ktuner came with a free tune of your car. $500 for everything
DiD YOU UPGRADE YOUR INTERCOOLER?
Not yet, deciding on CAI first and buying the cooler & CAI together
does this tune damage the cvt
@Kaleb’s Basement have you ever had another tune other than phearable that didn't damage the car?
You running this on the CVT bro? How do you like it?
yessir, CVT transmission and I love it. Using 20 PSI as a daily right now
@@DracoAzul Any issues with it at all? And do you have any bolt-on upgrades? Im looking to tune my car too but just worried about reliability.
@@MYDonutHol3 same bro... 2016 touring turbo... I am not tuning because I am scared I want to keep it for a long time...
@@alexandrefauchon7755 I hear you bro. A lot of my homies are tuned on CVTs as well and they all tell me I'll be straight as long as im not abusing it. Probably gonna pull the trigger on it, but will upgrade my intercooler first.
@@MYDonutHol3 I feel like if you're not doing a lot of launches it won't be hard on the cvt but if you're doing 0-60 pulls every time you leave a light it'll probably tear it up
Will it void the warranty?
It depends on your dealer if they don’t check your logs within the ECU. i’ve heard some stories that some don’t mind and still have warranty on their cars with tune
They would have to prove that what ever happened to your car came directly from you tuning it. My civic hatch is on coil overs and I took it to get lowered in the back to be even in front and a shop messed up my front cv boot. Took it to Honda dealership and it WAS covered by warranty because just my car was lowered doesn’t mean that caused it. The shop most likely busted something👍🏼
HP/TORQUE gain?
From 174 HP to 220 HP 265 TQ as said. I have yet to dino the car but regardless, its a night and day difference
@@DracoAzul Thanks brah 👍
hello kuya mico
I'm sure its nice but for 20,000 miles and then blow motor and buy a new car? Honda detuned for 200,000 miles durability. I don't think you can have your cake and eat it too right?
You’re not wrong, but to see various people tuned with 80K miles and up with no issues on a tuned engine, why not do it? A guy who’s name is Jamie Jerman has a Sport CVT tuned on Ktuner 21PSI map and beat the living shit out of his car and has no issues with the engine. As long as you’re not messing with the tuner’s settings with no knowledge, you shouldn’t tune the car. If you’re also going for reliabilty, don’t tune the car. I can certainly get my own cake and eat it for my pleasure 🤙🏽
@@DracoAzul The other question is why do people spend thousands on mods and add-ons when they could just get a pricier and faster car on credit to begin with?? Maybe because bank would not approve of the purchase? For example Veloster N or Type R,
@@jamesmedina2062 People have their own unique taste. Thats the main reason why we love modifying cars. For some people, they wouldn’t see buying a car thats worth $80K with 700 HP; they would rather build it on their own. Don’t get me wrong, i love the type R but i would rather see an Si Hatch or another SiR being brought back. Type R is also ridiculously marked up from its msrp ranging from $5K-$35K so definitely not worth on its value.
@@DracoAzul Yeah I got you. You make a valid point. It's really wild because I was fixing on cruising a Cruise with the quiet cabin and entertainment system in it, but instead I ended up with a Honda Civic with its heavier but easier flywheel. I trusted Honda and then found myself modifying it a lot just to tolerate it. I'm still in the wrong car! I think I need a 4 cylinder with vibration balance shafts or a smooth 6-cylinder.
@@jamesmedina2062 i personally love civics. I love my car when it was bone stock since it was super smooth and quiet. Then again, this is my second car too. Although, cabin noise wise honda isn’t great with that. I went inside my friends mustang gt 5.0 with open headers, and custom exhaust and there was no drone in the cabin due to paddings and stuff. If you’re into smoothness, i recommend acura or lexus. Lexus IS250 or IS300 F Sport feels amazing but a but pricey.
What did you have done to the car at this point besides the tune?
