The thought of retirement makes me cry. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It's so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings to fall back on.

Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment.Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.

Withdrawal of 12%? Who does that? Max withdrawal should be 4% for the corpus to forever keep growing and never exhausting. So the corpus you need after 25 years is not 2.5 crores, it will be much more than that..may be around 12-15 crores. So the SIP amount should not be 13500, rather around 75000 pm with step up of atleast say 5%.

Dear Srija Well done and informative video
One suggestion - Right now many people are holding cash waiting for market valuations to optimise so if you could make a video covering short term investment which can be conveniently shifted to equities in a frame of 6-12 months

Very good video. Excellent in fact. However one point to note is that as you age into retirement, the monthly expenses will be lower, so can you make an excel sheet which shows decreasing expenses as it may give a much more realistic pitcure.( A 70 years old person montly expenses will be much less that when that person was say 50 yrs of age. )

It’s too sharp on monthly withdraw amount & corpus amount. It’s proven by experience is to limit monthly withdrawal amount to 3-4% of total corpus amount to last 25 years.
