Very good progress here in your gameplay, just don't forget you have unlocked Double Shot. So now you can shoot 2 arrows instead of 1. Simply tap R2 while aiming and Aloy will notch a 2nd arrow. I think soon you will be able to get a Shadow Ropecaster/ War Bow/ Trip Caster. Ropecaster: You have tried this, you tied down a Corruptor using a green Ropecaster. If you get a purple Shadow Ropecaster, you can tie down machines even faster and with less ropes. A fully tied down machine will not move/ attack for 90 secs as long as it is not taking damage. You can then focus on other machines. You can also Override a tied down machine as long as you have unlocked its corresponding Cauldron. War Bow: Shoots Freeze/Shock/Corruption arrows. Freezing a machine makes it brittle, and your arrows will do 3x damage. Shooting an exposed blue Chillwater canister on a machine will explode, do damage and Freeze a machine. Shock arrows stuns machines for a while, but more importantly shooting an exposed Shock canister on a machine will explode it and damage + stun a machine. Corruption arrows will make both normal machines and humans berserk and fight each other for about (they will still fight you). So if a pack of machines is in front of you but you can't override any of them, just shoot a few arrows into one machine and they will all start fighting each other. Trip Caster: I like to use Blast Trip Wires before certain fights i.e. In Cauldrons the last area is always small arena and powerful machine, I will lay down Blast Trip wires and Traps all over (You can lay down a total of 15 traps and 15 trips wires anytime during a game, handy in boss fights) But you can ignore all these, at this point just your bow skills should be enough to carry you to endgame, especially once you get the last Power Cell and unlock the Shield-Weave Armor.
Knowing my gameplay the rooecaster won’t be something I’ll use often. I’m a hot head and go in battle head on, so defensive techniques often get forgotten. The freeze yes yes I should absolutely use more often. If nothing else because I love the way machines look frozen, but also because you now told me I’ll do 3x damage… I’ll look for the shock canisters too. And I’m not sure how the corruption arrows look but I’ll find them. I might just give in a google the last power cells… and probably, the plan is if I get too trapped in the game and go to the end to still do at least one more cauldron. The dlc too, it’s in the snow area, right? Those are my favorite in games, so I’ll probably do it
@@Blairsette Yes there is only 1 power cell left lol 😅 its amazing you found them Ah yes also amazing, not just you, alot of people just go straight into battle, incredible I saw one play on Very Hard when she gets frustrated with her bow she just whacks with spear I think you have done well you can prob can finish the game
