I doubt it would be significantly different. Even though the body of the vehicle isn't pitching back as much, the weight is still shifting rearward on acceleration. The car is level from the outside, but if you looked at the load values, the rear axle would still be loaded up way more.
@@resadrecebli2263 What do you mean? PDCC is designed to do that. My 991 turns flatter with it on. I bet the difference is even more noticeable with heavier cars like Panamera

Does a system like this have a noticeable impact on the fuel consumption? Cause with a car that heavy I imagine that a lot of energy has to be used. Or maybe the full potential of the suspension is only used under heavy load when the engine is pushed a lot anyways?
The initial bounce though at launch is apparent. Some lean is also not an altogether bad thing. I'd imaging ride quality would be compromised to some degree?
I would prefer the more traditional feel of the car rather than having a synthetic feeling and its unnatural weight transfer under load. Weight transfer can be very useful and is absolutely essential for a vehicle if you’re not driving it on a racetrack.
This system is very good, but still would be inferior to a fully adjustable hydro/Gas suspension created by Citroen and used in DS, BX, Xantia, Silver Shadows, Discovery 2 and Mclaren hyper series cars whom have developed the best ever system yet.

PDCC has been around far longer than E-Active Body Control, done better, lasted longer and hasn't been discontinued in most models it was offered in originally. "E-Active Body Control" isn't even a competitor to Porsche's PDCC as its solely for comfort and this is for both that and performance… Not hating on Mercedes but they can't even compare because they're 2 different things.
PDCC only reduces lateral body roll while cornering. It does not reduce longitudinal movement when accelerating/braking. Active ride does both lateral and longitudinal and copies the mercedes system which was designed with an air spring and an electric motor on each corner.
