It was an acrylic roller that you would find in your baking isle in joanns or michaels, used to roll out fondant - I use it for alot of things also polymer Clay i love it!

Hot plate is just a.place where i can put my resin items and if they drip i can easily peel off the dried resin off the silicone easily; u can use anything of course, the silicone is nice since it wont get ruined.
