Yo I got a ssr200 dirt bike it’s in good shape only issue it has a fork leak is that super bad for it? Will it cause any actual damage ? I’m keeping it around my neighborhood for rn is that okay
I’m pretty sure that’s a crank case breather if the crank case gets to much oil pressure it will push some through there and burn it in the engine it’s more eco friendly
What’s up man I just got this bike yesterday and it was running smooth and nice when i got it and it needed some oil because it was low so i got some 10w40 and put too much and the bike started to bog and bits of blue smoke came out of exhaust then i drained that oil and got fresh oil in there(the right amount this time) the bike is fine now but it’s still bogging when in high rpms and i have already gave it a carb clean and it has fresh 93 gas in it i need some help if u have any ideas?
oil definitely got into your carb. Check your carb seals. after that, check the exhaust seal and muffler. Then engine seals. something could've gotten burnt up.
Use 91 octane and if it’s brand new change the oil after the first 3 hours of easy riding no high rpms and then wait for it to cool down, change the oil, should only need 1 full quart, and do that about 2 more times to finish breaking it in. After that just change it maybe after 4-5 good rides on it you could probably go longer but with dirt bikes I think you should change it relatively often.
Great video I was wondering if you knew how to fix the bike bogging when given throttle any faster than the rate at which a turtle crawls 😅😂🤣😂 If you try to accelerate quickly, from dead stop, or while cruising, it immediately bogs and tries to die unless I let off the throttle. Ive adjusted the only screw on the carburetor as best I can and it doesn't get any better... I'm sure its something simple, but it's legitimately brand new and I don't feel like pulling the plastics off just to get the carb out to not know wtf to do LOL Its like 20% rideable as is... good for a kid... terrible for me LOL Its done this since I got it running (changed oil before I even started it.) So I'm at a loss at this point lol
Master AF What gas are you using? Use non ethanol gas and that should free up the bogging. If you are already using non ethanol gas then you may need to clean out your carburetor or get a new one. You don’t have to take off the plastics to get the carb there’s just the front pipe you take off by 2 screws and you air filter is on the other side held on by a clamp. Hope this helps if you try this and still have problems dm me on insta.
@@Bataha I agree. Mine stopped almost all bogging when I switched to non ethanol. I thought it being broken in was it, but now I'm convinced you are correct.
