However, I did a defensive riding course with the British police and also did some training and a coached track day to get some fundamentals in place first. Seemed the obvious thing to do. Guess not.

4:50. We had a lady die in her car at this Toyota dealership I worked at a decade ago. it was where we parked cars that were waiting customers for them to get out fast. And apparently no one decided to check on her when they saw. And she died. Pretty messed up.
Horrible decisions by Anthony. First you're raising hell in the streets. Then when your "homie" wrecks, you're more interested in getting his bike and getting caught. Then you move him when he obviously has a head injury and tell him to get back on his bike and keep riding when he could have serious stability issues.
The vast majority of these crashes are because people don't know how to turn. Leaning actually doesn't make the bike turn all that much without input on the handlebars. You need to make the bike lean under you before you can move your body with it if you actually want effective turning. Think of riding a bicycle, you can't just lean off of the side of it without touching the handlebars to make it turn sharply, it'll lazily turn, sure, but while lazily turning may be good enough for bicycles, motorcycles go much faster, and have much more grip, so more turning is a necessity. You need to turn the handlebars away from the inside of the turn to help the bike lean into the turn, so then you can adjust your body posture to finely adjust your turning radius. Motorcycle cops actually sit bolt upright on their motorcycle when they turn, as leaning away from the motorcycle can help it to turn more tightly at low speeds, and be more nimble, however, at higher speeds the motorcycle resists leaning more, so leaning with it can help persuade it to turn more. tl;dr: go practice turning on your bicycle before you get on a motorcycle

Think of riding a bicycle, you can't just lean off of the side of it without touching the handlebars to make it turn sharply, it'll lazily turn, sure, but while lazily turning may be good enough for bicycles, motorcycles go much faster, and have much more grip, so more turning is a necessity. You need to turn the handlebars away from the inside of the turn to help the bike lean into the turn, so then you can adjust your body posture to finely adjust your turning radius. Motorcycle cops actually sit bolt upright on their motorcycle when they turn, as leaning away from the motorcycle can help it to turn more tightly at low speeds, and be more nimble, however, at higher speeds the motorcycle resists leaning more, so leaning with it can help persuade it to turn more.
tl;dr: go practice turning on your bicycle before you get on a motorcycle
@@bubbleman2002 i hope you post on reddit alot. I love reading and learning new shit but yeah I agree. I've been riding for over a year now and have never had a problem like this and I got two crotchrockets and a cruiser... it's definitely not that hard and is sad to see people crashing because of it. I know you gotta give input with the handle bar and leaning but it didn't look like he did either one.
