And whats even better is that when the other biker started puffing up to the van driver and being all mad, the van driver explained and defended himself, but he managed to do it in a way that sounded reasonable and completely justified. and afterwards, he went to the injured biker and checked on him and insisted he get an ambulance to check him out. Hes a good man for sure. Im straight and i would marry that guy. Honest, caring, and apologetic, but also not afraid to stand up for himself.

When I ride I always avoid speeding etc near intersections and side roads. I always slow down and I never ever pass people in curves or hills.

4:55 asking anyone that has wobbled, what happens if you brake slightly with the rear brake when wobbeling? i have never gotten death wobble or so so i kinda want tips for when/if that day comes.
If you're in a speed wobble, the thing you don't want to do is hang on and try to control it. It's counterintuitive, but you need to let go of the bars and lean back. Usually, trying to control it will just make it worse. A bike naturally wants to stand up if moving, and a wobble is caused by weight over the front tire combined with an introduced vibration (bike not aligned, bump etc.) . The best way to avoid a speed wobble, is....don't ride like an idiot. You can check alignment/stability on a bike by going highway speeds (on a highway) and letting go of the bars for a sec. If there is a problem, it will show itself with either a slight wobble or the bike badly pulling to one side. A speed wobble can happen at high speeds to even the most stable bikes. Hope that answered your question.
Just stop accelerating and let it go it's way. The rotational forces on the front wheel will make it for you, basic physics. Just don't grip the handlebar to tight, that's a big mistake many riders do

Gotta admit the guy rear ending the biker was completely honest, he went to check on him after the biker sat down and wanted to help with getting paramedics, he had insurance and seemed 100% genuinely sad that he hurt someone. The Harley biker was confrontational and pretty aggressive, when maybe could've taken it down a few notches but he may have not heard the initial apology and maybe had a different perception of the incident.

If you're having to try to chase a CAR in a race when you're on a MOTORCYCLE, stop. It also makes them think THEY CAN CUT US OFF and MANEUVER AROUND US. I can understand that bikers get angry when someone switches lanes when they are lane splitting but they gotta remember that drivers aren't looking out for bikers coming through the lanes, yes they can probably see them if they are close enough but when the biker is going 80-95 mph then the driver isn't expecting them.
If you’re gonna split with that much speed difference you gotta accept the risks man, absolutely nobody can look in their mirror and gauge how fast you’re coming up 5-10 car lengths back, and at that speed that’s like a second or two? Own your own risks, but for me that’s way too fast. If I did that for my commute every day I’d be in the hospital within a month and I don’t need that.

@@maxtloczek6166 That's exactly the cue. The driver intended to go on that dirt road and the dumb rider thought it's safe to pass in a curve where there is a dirt road. When I ride I always avoid speeding etc near intersections and side roads. I always slow down and I never ever pass people in curves or hills.

4:55 asking anyone that has wobbled, what happens if you brake slightly with the rear brake when wobbeling? i have never gotten death wobble or so so i kinda want tips for when/if that day comes.
If you're in a speed wobble, the thing you don't want to do is hang on and try to control it. It's counterintuitive, but you need to let go of the bars and lean back.
Usually, trying to control it will just make it worse. A bike naturally wants to stand up if moving, and a wobble is caused by weight over the front tire combined with an introduced vibration (bike not aligned, bump etc.) .
The best way to avoid a speed wobble, is....don't ride like an idiot. You can check alignment/stability on a bike by going highway speeds (on a highway) and letting go of the bars for a sec. If there is a problem, it will show itself with either a slight wobble or the bike badly pulling to one side. A speed wobble can happen at high speeds to even the most stable bikes.

Just stop accelerating and let it go it's way. The rotational forces on the front wheel will make it for you, basic physics. Just don't grip the handlebar to tight, that's a big mistake many riders do

Gotta admit the guy rear ending the biker was completely honest, he went to check on him after the biker sat down and wanted to help with getting paramedics, he had insurance and seemed 100% genuinely sad that he hurt someone. The Harley biker was confrontational and pretty aggressive, when maybe could've taken it down a few notches but he may have not heard the initial apology and maybe had a different perception of the incident.

4:08 this must be the kind of people riding around my city in the last few years. Since I've started riding again, all these car drivers suddenly think they can race me all the time. If you're having to try to chase a CAR in a race when you're on a MOTORCYCLE, stop. You're making a fool of yourself and you're giving these people excuses to put everyone around in danger trying to race people on motorcycles...
It also makes them think THEY CAN CUT US OFF and MANEUVER AROUND US. Makes it very dangerous for those of us with faster bikes when a car driver suddenly thinks they can make the gap because they've "outrun motorcycles before". It's annoying how often I am challenged or put into a stupid situation because someone wants to show off to their passenger.
Hot take? Maybe, but it's annoying. Just take one thing into account for example; a lot of these videos seem to feature low-displacement bikes that struggle beyond 80mph in their top gear or second to top. They seem to struggle getting out of situations that a lot of them tend to put themselves into.

I can understand that bikers get angry when someone switches lanes when they are lane splitting but they gotta remember that drivers aren't looking out for bikers coming through the lanes, yes they can probably see them if they are close enough but when the biker is going 80-95 mph then the driver isn't expecting them.
If you’re gonna split with that much speed difference you gotta accept the risks man, absolutely nobody can look in their mirror and gauge how fast you’re coming up 5-10 car lengths back, and at that speed that’s like a second or two?
Own your own risks, but for me that’s way too fast. If I did that for my commute every day I’d be in the hospital within a month and I don’t need that.
