Getting to hear some more badass Foe Hammer moments was an awesome throwback. Then referencing Johnsons Halo Wars Cyclops and Chief taking command of Red team! This What If took SO much existing lore and even has Thel 'Vadam reacting to the flood, truly amazing story writing.
That final moment of Alice putting her turret on the Warthog like Jorge hit hard :')

@@IvanicohG Absolutely love the content m8. The way you include pre-existing lore with your own makes it so believable, it honestly feels like I'm experiencing new Halo content again. Kinda reminds me of the Halo Legends series, it just feels refreshing considering the lack of lore 343 has been producing sadly.
I’ve been wanting something like this for a while. What I had in mind was something where the Infinity and the Spirit of Fire switch places where the Infinity has to deal with the Banished on the Ark, and the Spirit of Fire has to deal with the Didact either before or after Chief arrives (they’d probably have to do a raid on a Storm Covenant ship to shut it down and spend time transporting and installing it’s Slipspace Drive. There’s also implications for exactly when they’d wake up the Didact because it could be before the Covenant reach earth and how many defenses they’d have, what happens if he arrives during when Regret or Truth make it to earth, or if he gets there the same time as normal). That would be cool to see. If that would be too much work to make just ignore this.
So far I’m liking this.
Im just confused a little by your timeline of events. Cause infinity wasn’t ready until 2553, so do you mean spirit of fire is found before Requiem, or do you mean infinity is built sooner? Or a combination of all these extra steps? I just wanna make sure I have straight to consider it.
Sorry about that. What I had in mind was that both ships would swap places and appear at the normal times. But, then I went off on that weird tangent because my brain went crazy with other possible times that the Spirit of Fire could arrive at Requiem.
Personally i don't think there were enough spartans in this was one. Other that that amazing work as always and i can't wait for your next video!

I also respect your choice about the SPI armor, personally that scene in the book always resonated with me and I've had that kind of feeling myself at several pivotal moments in my life (the whole "that's not me anymore" thing looking at my old competitive kit when I was teaching the basics as an airsoft cadet camp instructor with the more basic rental gear), was always a powerful moment in the book but I think your reasoning behind the change is perfectly fine given the story

Side note: it would be so cool to add a grunt that becomes part of chromes squad, and I know it is a stretch, goes under augmentation by Halsey to be a grunt spartan. I love grunts and this would be a dream come true! (Maybe even a grunt spartan armor????)
I remember shadow, it’s not that ignores the idea, I’m going in order of 1) when I had the idea or when some one suggested them. 2) how unique and exciting the idea is. And while I really appreciate the suggestion, I just felt there was a lot more to do with them on Halo ce instead of Infinite. Lastly maybe you’ve noticed none of my timelines touch on Infinite, I’ve been trying to leave infinite alone until we get anymore lore at all.
But thank you for your continued support, as far as the grunt idea, the point of what ifs is to have fun. So I’m gonna write it down. (Just mind you the what ifs list for Halo is about a hundred long right now lol

I greatly like the change you did with Kurt as the whole “I’m one of you now” literally made no sense if you wanted to protect your students why would you make yourself more vulnerable? You could have at least given it to Lucy or Tom very dick move on his part Lmao. Anyways I never really thought about the spirit of fire crossover with the main halo timeline and I’m glad you did it.
Hope you do Red flag next imma need every Spartan to ever show (who isn’t dead at the time of reach) to show up for it. @@IvanicohG It was a great one. HW 1/2 are my favorite Halo games, followed by Infinite then Reach. So... The more of this, the better.
I would love to see how this would go, if you made this converge with the concept that it is the Banished in Halo 4 and not some random Covenant remnants at Req. Then you can have this be the first time the SoF faces off against them in a trilogy covering the fight against the Banished on Req, the Banished deciding to try to take over the Ark with much of the H5 events taking place there, and an AI rebellion beginning when a Banished AI teams up with Cortana (Infinite Infection mode). The events of HW2 and H5 kinda play out in unison with Infinite culminating in a major standoff between the UNSC and the Banished who have been fully developed over the course of the 3 installments.
Im not going to lie. A pillar of autumn and spirit of fire team up. Sounds incredible !!!

In the original game, before the existence of the Terminals, I assumed that 343 Guilty Spark had been in stand-by mode, and activated as soon as the Flood escaped containment.
With the terminals added, and the weapons systems that we've never seen mentioned before or since being under his control, I have to ask WTF was he doing whilst the Covenant captured Captain Keyes? It would have saved a whole lot of trouble if he had just shown up. "HOLY ORACLE! We meant no disrespect!"
You might also want to consider an alternate version in which Serina is alive. Much like Cortana, Serina had ample access to Forerunner technology and information, and likely could invent a way to prolong her own lifespan. It also never made sense to me that an AI could exist without the ability to power-off and go into deep storage--there's no processing power on a memory chip. In fact, the entire seven years backstory seems to be derived from the limitations of a computer system back when we had floppy discs--and if you take good care of a computer system, you can in fact boot it up, and recover the data decades later.

Some time this week hopefully. I was gonna start recording today so I woke up early EARLY but family and dogs didn’t let me record more than 20s without hearing a bark or things dropping upstairs.
So I’m gonna come home and do that after work tomorrow instead. I usually try to record all in one day and edit throughout my spare time. So if this takes TOO long cause of how Dense the story is, then I’ll put out a video im like 70% done with just to keep a flow of content. It’s a list video so very different than my regular videos but 🤷🏻♂️I wanted to do it.

Hey just found you through this and if it's any indicator of your other work's quality I can't wait to see more! My only questions is to the fate of one of the Spartan 2s Grace-093, I feel if Anton and Li could survive the surely she would have, especially since the circumstances of her death don't take place in your timeline. Even if Operation First Strike happened wouldn't the additional 5 Spartans present for the operation change her fate? Idk seems like maybe you forgot she existed, although if there is a future part which I suspect the "What if the Spirit of Fire was in Halo 4" video is, she could be reckoned as present since it wouldn't contradict much beyond the numbers of Spartans are increased by one. Anyways, onto the next vid, looking forward to watching more of your content and let me know what you think if you read this :)

What if: Master chief took the place of Red team in halo wars, and Red team took the place of master chief in halo CE - 4,
Suggestion 2: Prior to the human covenant war the dirty secrets about kidnapping for the spartan program and the Spartans are retired early, forcing either the humans to loose the war, Somehow win the war by some luck, or become vassalized by the covenant, but when the Betrayal by the prophets to the elites takes place, the UNSC try to Mount a resistance. I feel this would make a unique situation that most people do not touch on: the Humans loosing the war.
So there you go! I hope you take these into consideration.

One thing though, with The Spirit of Fire arriving at 04 and rejoining the fray instead of ending up at the ark, The Banished will be much more firmly entrenched and it may be years or even decades before anyone finds them there. That could end up being an even bigger disaster than what we end up seeing come Halo Infinite.
Also with this being the story, Halo 4 would probably be Halo Wars 2 with Chief as your main hero, which would make Halo 5 as we know it not exist (yay!) and With there being more spartans maybe they could steal a Covie ship and use it to get back to earth and fix Cortana...IF she can be fixed.
Without spoiling what the rest of the timeline looks like, there are some of your ideas that liked but unfortunately I already finished the next part, I hope you liked it. I saw you commented on the next one 😅

NGL, this would make for a cool AU modded campaign. for any RTS segments, I have a recommendation, don't just recreate Halo Wars in the respective Halo engine you are using, there's an old game on steam, it is called Nuclear Dawn, it is a RTS/FPS hybrid, PLEASE reference the shit out of that.

Very nice. Been working on a story myself about the Spirit of Fire being around the Battle of Earth and this helped me a lot. Also sucking up to Spartans huh? Hm...how about What if Daisy-023 Survived? That would put a smile in my face.
I’ll have to research her cause the only one I can think off the top of my head is the one that unalives herself at the end of the Spartan program. But I’m probably wrong on who it is.
@@IvanicohG She basically made one appearance in the short Homecoming from Halo Legends. She was one of the only Spartans who tries to run away to go back to see her family. Which didn’t end well for her. I found her one of the more interesting Spartans than all the rest due to being the more emotional and sympathetic ones who has no love for Halsey unlike the others. Which makes me want to see how she could bounce off of the other important characters.

It makes me regret not having them met, I wanted to on the first draft. But I chose to separate the rescue team and the weapons cache team :/ but I think in the end it was a needed as to not juggle both of them.

Yeah, thank you, it’s an old writers trick since it gets too repetitive calling the same thing by the same word. Like how I go from Chief to John, to master Chief and sierra 117. So idk if I was clear but The Colossus IS a cyclops that’s just twice the size. So. Way bigger. But I did notice I made a few mistakes within the recording but recording in my house is impossible so I had to leave it or delay the video a whole week more. I don’t remember my lore on the spirit of fire too well. But how do they have Spartans 20 years before the spartan 2 program. Since there was only 1 generation of spartan 2s

I mean. Kurt claimed the III’s were Spartan’s no matter the armor and other things….so why did he decide to change his armor to theirs?
In the books he is trying to make a statement that he is one of them, but it’s kinda pointless since his MJolnir would give him better odds against the covenant. I’m not saying it would’ve kept him alive in THAT situation. But it would’ve helped A LOT.
I'd rather have Lucy still bond with Drift as it doesn't change anything really but still keeps character elements even though they aren't covered here.
I liked Lucy before but until I read Fractures where she didn’t wanna be a Spartan anymore if it meant fighting insurrectionists. So I don’t like putting her in stories.
What if Master Chief was replaced by a squad of elite ODSTs in Halo?
So I was thinking Alpha 9, Buck’s squad. But ran into a lot of issues when I started writing this. Someone commented this a long time ago and I wanted to make it but felt like 100% speculation :( and at that point I didn’t know if people would be more interested in the story telling or how likely the story was to happen.
