EPIC ENDING !!
To see something you've never seen, you've got to do something you've never done... Awesome job, great video. Thank you so much for sharing Stephen
Wow, very nice impressions. High quality video. But your equipment must be expensive af 🙂
I wish I could pull off a video like that using a GoPro!
Very good film and an invitation for me to come and dive Komodo.
07:03 That's a shedload of cownose rays! Wow!
What a really great video!
Thanks! 🙏
Very good video. I just was wondering if it would be worth crossing the world to come diving Komodo. After watching this film I think the answer is Yes.
Several times I dive here but can not found schooling manta, urr very lucky n can catch the moment nicely. Also the macro was amazing.
I was lucky to see the mantas. We did several dives and I only saw them at a distance because other divers were chasing them. As the third dive was coming to an end and I still hadn't got any shots, a manta came by really close and all the divers in my group started chasing it leaving me by myself. It was at the time all the mantas in the video came right up to me! So, it was great the one manta lured all the divers away! Thanks for your kind comments and for watching. Hope you get a moment alone with the mantas too.
Already, 1 moment freediving, i am waiting at the bottom around 10meters for several second n hope the manta came to me. Several times trying n succeded. 1 moment diving, as u know dive more simple than freediving with the current. And also 1 moment I get the capture from drone.
Remarkable! A true macro feast!! thanks for sharing
Thanks Graham!
Great videography, awesome footage, and devil rays at 7:05 , my dream, ❤️it.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow! That macro footage is just world-class! Could watch that over and over again! That mantis shrimp at 04:51, magic! We're big Komodo lovers, one of our favourite diving spots in the world. You just got yourself a new subscriber, Stephen! Looking forward for more! Keep it up! Matthias from Bugs & Bears 🐻

Excellent work! I'm heading out to the Philippines in a week for my second trip with my GH5. Your macro work is great. Auto or manual focus? Spot or area? AFF or AFC? Any other tips? Thanks so much!
Gregory Sydow thanks! You’re going to have a great time in the Philippines. I shoot in manual mode spot focus with back button auto focus setup. I’ve toyed with focus tracking but haven’t gotten quick with setting it up. It’s also hard on a tripod. Good luck!
@@StephenMartin001 Thanks much! I will experiment with back button auto focus a bit. Hopefully I will get some decent results!
Very good video. I just was wondering if it would be worth crossing the world to come diving Komodo. After watching this film I think the answer is Yes.
Having been myself, too, I can give you a very firm yes. It was amazing. Indonesia is a dive location par excellence. Komodo, Bunaken, Raja Ampat, Banda Sea, Ambon, Misool, the list goes on. I don't know where else I can go to exceed or match Indo. Maybe Palau, Micronesia, and French Polynesia.
