Battle of Ligny has always been an ass in this game. Prussian artillery located on key terrain, constant counter attacks and not alot of terrain you can attack from forces you to play this very defensively and use some unusual tactics. Still a pretty cool experience.
cannon shot on a bridge. Best battle ever! Haha in all seriousness, good battle and agree it gives a bit of a change to how you take on the enemy. Honestly all the battles have been great for forcing a change in tactics and use of some "interesting" builds. Would have loved to try out a melee focused army though, just to see the challenge in dealing with the change in technology during the period.
Sweet lord that first round shot through the prussian infantry...!
That kind of line up is a rare thing, but hot darn is it a thing of beauty when it happens!
