the opt up on “mama is this it” IT GETS ME EVERY TIME IT’S SO GOOD
Wow. I didn't know you had the ability to be nice.
That was a joke about your username by the way. Not your personality LOL.
didn't think i could like anyone as lydia more than sophia but here we are
her voice is just so full of emotion without being all acting, no singing talent and she seems more like a teenager throwing a fit which honestly, as a teenager, is what i feel like doing sometimes lmao
I' m sorry but this was not good.
@@Sweetlovewhit91alright hb you try :3
@@Fortniteskibidizigma Sure I'll. get the connections that led to Elizabeth Teeter getting this role in the first place, revive the show and sing dead mom on broadway
@@Sweetlovewhit91you could do better omg! 😮 Are you sure about that 💀
@@Sweetlovewhit91 nah, just record a video and post it. Since youre so good i'm sure the video will go viral. This performance was great, you cant tell me 3 bad things about it. She nailed it
“Take me where my soul can run!” Holy- that gave me CHILLS
I never thought I'd like any actor that's not Sophia Anne Caruso as Lydia but I have been proven wrong time and time again by Elizabeth. She's just so amazing, I don't know how to describe it, the amount of times I got chills from this performance is insane.❤
she's my favorite lydia probably. loved everyone else too, but her portrayal is just so perfect for the musical
Had the honor to see her life and she KILLED it! Her performance was excellent! Full of emotion, character, and energy! Can't wait to see what else the world holds for her
So happy to hear it! Elizabeth is absolutely wonderful!!
OMG same! I saw her live in August and she was amazing!
Same! I am a new Elizabeth Teeter fan. I saw her as Lydia on October 4, 2022. She is pure fire and so insanely talented.
She's grown in confidence so much omg
So excited to see her the day before closing. At first, I was worried that she couldn't reach the bar that Sophia set during her time as Lydia, but Elizabeth is absolutely crushing the role. Her rendition of Lydia feels more like a teen trying to cope from a loved one's death with fake happiness and humor. SO proud of how far she's come. I can't wait! 😁
Somewhere, Sophia is watching this smiling.
Fun Fact: Sophia actually follows Elizabeth on Instagram.
She’s amazing! She improved! A lot!!!!!
As a dancer, I am always fascinated by watching by watching musicians bodies, and she is so wholly involved with hers. I love it
💯 agree! 💚
ITS THE “DROP A NUCLEAR BOMB” SHE IS SO GOOD I LOVE HER
Iconic line delivery!!!
the camera trying to accurately track her is killing me
Hahah I hope you enjoyed my camerawork
2:09 chills. Every. Damn. Time
Was anyone watching this on the live and it started lagging on the bridge? Can’t believe we missed that last bit that was INSANE
She's my fav lydia! SHE DOES IT SO WELLLL
This whole performance absolutely slayed. I especially loved the "dead mom" at the end
As a depressed teen, I don’t think we have that much energy. She sounds great, though.
i think the same but she's talking to her dead mom tho and this song has a lot of emotions
i saw her in bryant park and the day after in the real show, and it was really different, i think here she was just having fun, but in the show it was the real lydia, and it was amazing, trust me
There is no one or correct way of showing depression. Considering the song is about her dead mom she loved very much it could very well be the mania that sometimes comes with depression, it's possible to feel emotional highs even with depression.
@@mariajesus2856 Lucky! I really wanted to see her in Bryant Park but I didn't know when it was. I was fortunately lucky enough to see her in the real show though.
I think that energy signifies how strong her emotion is. She’s dull with everything else then passionate about her mothers death (the reason for her depression)
SHES INCREDIBLE
💚💚💚
Agreed!
Elizabeth really sold this rendition! I love her as Lydia.
her passion is so apparent
1:55 GIRLIE POP IS GETTING INTO IT
i love her so much 😭😭😭
CHILLS LITERALLY CHILLS HOLY
💜💚💜💚💜
her voice control is so much better!
She’s very talented but what’s with the “daddy didnt LEWSE” 😭
She threw it away so she can have better support for the belt. Smart imo
@@Olemansummer ^^
@@Olemansummer It’s not even that high of a belt for a female 💀 not needed imo and it sounds weird
@Michael Bonetti i think she was probably very out of breath. this song is definitely tough to sing.
@@acarfullofclowns she needs better breath control then because it’s really not needed. Isabella Esler and others sing this song (in a higher key even) without weird vocal decisions like that.
She sings and moves like she’s trying to free herself from a bear trap.
Careful not to hit your teeth by MIC girl haha
I do like Elizabeth Teeter as Lydia. I’ve said it before: You can see who Lydia’s mom is by watching Elizabeth as Lydia.
Also: It sounds like Elizabeth is singing “Dead Mom” in a safer way for her voice, compared to Sophia.
did they chabge this to be in a lower key?
No, still ends in Ab.
The first verse and chorus are lowered a half step. From the bridge to the end are in the original keys.

Sorry but this is so chaotic. She can't control her breathing properly. Whenever she sings I feel like she is always out of air.
When I first heard Sophia singing this song I cried instantly. The emotions is there but when Elizabeth sings it I can't feel it.
I don't know what your ears are hearing but it sounded okay to me.
tbf shes singing outside and with no staged choreography so it makes sense she sounds kind of exasperated, and im sure the bad audio quality of the camera doesn't help
@@lzuli2597 I've heard SAC sing this much better in the exact same or very similar settings. Even Presley sings it better without any staged choreo. Not a great excuse. She's just not a good Lydia.
