  • It amazes me how much a little tube of E6000 can do. I found it really easy to make these rhinestone statement earrings. I feel like it gives you an expensive look for a very low cost. If your interested in a quick diy project then this is for you!

    THANK YOU! This is the best rhinestone statement anything I've seen so far (not a huge fan of the felt based ones or the cel paper version (i.e. clear plastic sheets)). I think if you had a giant silicone mold (like giant icecubes or something, there are super neat ones nowadays) and pour a thin layer of clear UTEE, you can also gently arrange the rhinestones on top of the UTEE layer and wait for it to cure. Thanks for the tute!

    This is cool but its also such a waste of glue. E6000 is industrial strength glue and the excess isn't needed. If you must have a back to the earrings, use fabric instead.

    will a hot glue gun work for sticking the rhinestones together?

    • @StephanieRamseyBeauty
      @StephanieRamseyBeauty  8 лет назад +1

      +Hailey Negrete It may work but I don't feel like they would last very long. E6000 is really inexpensive and you can find it at almost any craft store.

    One question where did you purchase all your rhinestones at to do this project?

    • @StephanieRamseyBeauty
      @StephanieRamseyBeauty  9 лет назад +1

      I bought mine online on Etsy. They can be a little expensive but I really wanted gold clamps. If you would like to use silver you can generally find those a little easier.

      Stephanie Ramsey Can you provide the name of the shop you ordered the gemstones from? Thanks!

    • @StephanieRamseyBeauty
      @StephanieRamseyBeauty  9 лет назад +1

      charlotte johnson I purchased mine from a few different shops. I went ahead and linked the shops in my video description.

    • @StephanieRamseyBeauty
      @StephanieRamseyBeauty  9 лет назад +1

      charlotte johnson I actually just went ahead and linked the actual rhinestones. Some of the shops are larger and can be hard to navigate.

    I'm so glad I found your video!!! I've been searching for ways to make earrings that are similar to Ludora Boutique earrings because I love the style but they're so expensive! I'm definitely gonna try this out myself and I subbed to your channel, check out mine if you'd like!!! Can't wait to see how this goes :)

      Ameera Nassir I have had my eye on Ludora Boutigue earrings for a while now and these were definantly inspired from them. If you do decide to make your own make sure you check Etsy for rhinestones. I found some really pretty pastel jewels as well.

    • @AmeeraNassir

    E6000 is highly toxic glue, and wearing it straight on skin is not a good idea. I glue for living. Ventilate the area you glue in at least.
