      Lauren...I did notice I had to add fruit or other foods in the mixer to fill me up. I was a bit disappointed I had to do that as I had hoped It would fill me up on it's own considering the price.

    I like that you mention the fundamental law about weight loss, calories in versus calories burned, and I've seen so many diets out there that seem to ignore that law and ultimately fail. I've had successful weight loss with a basic diet and exercise regimen that still included "splurge foods" from time to time, so long as I just managed the caloric burn in relation to intake.

    Love the honesty and detail. I actually drink this everyday, usually paired with a salad/snack for lunch. I wanted an update on the thing I consume, to see if I made the right purchase. I think I've been drinking it for roughly a year now. It was always in the back of my mind to try and since it is pricier than others, I was hesitant. But like you said, it's packed with nutrients that I don't get in a regular cooked meal so it gives me peace of mind that I'm doing some good for my body. Chocolate and Matcha are my favorite. I never mix the Matcha but fresh berries with the chocolate is sometimes heavenly. Thank you for posting your take on this product.

    Enjoyed the unbiased review.. *subscribed* was considering this product along with switching to a mushroom based coffee alternative but I don’t think I will since I’ve been doing clean keto for years and the carbs are too high. Plus I saw another review that questioned some of the necessity of the added vitamins and such. I already have a vitamin subscription from care/of and I was trying to find a one stop shop product. I also don’t like eating breakfast. This product is REALLY expensive though 🤔

      Really? That's amazing if that is true. It could also be the lighting and the fact that the new location I'm shooting in gets a lot more natural light? But if my skin does actually look better, maybe I need to order some more Ka'Chava?

  • @gregkisinger4183
    @gregkisinger4183 Год назад +4

    Nice review. I generally will use 1 scoop instead of the 2 scoops=1 serving. But I do mix other foods/fruits/nuts/etc. in with it and I do have other inexpensive protein powders that I use in unison with Kachava when I am working out. So, I try to stretch it out a bit longer than the 15 servings as listed on the bag. I have tried the coconut acai and the chai and I really like the taste of both. I will be placing another order soon and will try the chocolate and the matcha on this next order. I'm generally already a healthy person so I can't say that Kachava alone gives me more energy or whatever but I figure that with those ingredients that it would do more good for me than anything else-so I continue to take it.

      Do sprout your nuts (and not many) at least 24 hrs room temp. water on counter. Walnuts are better then Almonds (Oxalates.) Doing this is very important. Do not eat fruits especially blended- fructose. Horrid actually because of what the Randle Cycle teaches. You are MIXING Fats and Carbs. It is a really unhealthy practice despite the foods themselves appearing to be good for you.

    I just bought some during black Friday to try it at a discount. I have to say that I personally think it tastes better than organifi (of which, I've tried the vanilla and chocolate flavors), and being that I am only 4'10", I only used one scoop instead of the recommended 2 scoops. I also added a frozen banana instead of ice cubes and cashew milk (the same as I did for organifi). I am going to go try the chocolate, since I opened it like a dufus, because I didn't read the part on freshness. Now I will have to drink it every day and it's a good thing that it's winter in AZ. Liked and subscribed. Thank you for doing reviews. One last thing, I want to mention that it wasn't too bad on my gut (I've had to have surgery to have my gallbladder out (pregnancy hormones); it's been 7 years now since that happened, and this didn't bother me too badly.), I just wanted to mention that in case someone in a similar situation found this info helpful.

      It has some dig. enzymes in it. Never mix Fats and Carbs. Skip the banana for sure. 1 scoop is fine. Whole foods are better but as a supplement this is good. I think the 1 month thing is to force people to do a subscription. Just seal the bag up tight- cool, dark place. I would not worry too much. Dr. Berg sells good Dig. Enzymes. That is what I use. Had mine out too- m a n y people have. We are not alone my friend. FYI- if IT floats, that is not great- means there is still undigested fat in it. We also need to digest that FAT so we can get out Fat. Sol. Vits. like A, D, E and K. You might want to supplement to make sure. I do. In the bathroom, you want to see it sink. Sorry to be gross but keeping it real. It's just food really. Did you lose or gain weight? I lost weight- my friend gained. My BMI is 20.

    I had to start out with just 1 scoop per day to get my body used to it. And now doing 2 scoops smoothie with frozen banana berries and peanut butter every other day one meal replacement. It has helped my cravings and balanced out my emotional being. Overall like it one bag chocolate every month and trying matcha next. Thank you this was really good.

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  Год назад +2

      Be Kind, it does taste good and is filled with a lot of good stuff. My three biggest complaints are that it is not filling enough, for me, for a meal replacement drink (unless I add ingredients to help), it’s not NSF Certified for Sport (even though it’s made in an NSF Certified facility) and it’s really expensive. But it is about 90% healthier than a lot of “fast food” alternatives, and that’s a huge plus.\

    I have a shake pretty much 5 days a week once a day for breakfast. On the off days, I shake up a bottle of AG. I use the chocolate Ka’chava in organic coconut water and add a handful of red raspberries and a handful of blueberries. The taste is AWESOME. Totally tastes like I’m cheating on some diet, lol. The four big obvious results for me are 1. Mental clarity. Definitely noticed this about 2 weeks into the routine. 2. Weight loss. After about a month I dropped about 9 pounds and was not focusing on trying to lose weight. I just wasn’t eating as much in other meals because I wasn’t super hungry. It just came off and went down another hole in the belt. Cool!! 3. My skin feels and looks healthier for sure. I’m an Irish freckle face that gets dry skin pretty easy. But with no intentional focus on skin care, the dry skin issue is WAY down. Almost to nothing actually. That’s also cool. No more snow storms if I scratch my arm, lol. 4. Much better sleep. When I go down, these days I’m into quite obvious REM sleep and my dream clarity is interestingly memorable (TMI, lol, especially the ones where, well, you know, lol). I wake up energized and at 57 this has been a VERY welcome situation.
    Overall with the results I’m getting, I think is worth the seriously bloat d price of these products. If the quality of the ingredients is actually as high grade as advertised, I’ve been in the game of product creation using the “cost is of no consequence if performance produces real results” when I developed my DERMA Rescue skin lotion (one of these days I’m going to get that stuff back out in the market dang it, lol). There are plenty of folks like me out there that will gladly pay a handsome premium for truly impactful positive results. So I’m staying the course with both Ka’Chava and AG for sure. 👍🏻😎👍🏻

    • @FitnessFinance4u

    Thanks for your honest review and for mentioning still hungry and for how this product might affect your stomach.. The thought of finding a filling mrp is a fantasy since it takes me 2days to cook, prep, package freeze about $150 worth of decent food and pull frozen cooked prepped meats and poultry out of freezer to thaw during the course of the week..
    Sometimed I forget and have to carefully buy fast food. I think that
    Maybe I will try using an mrp along with my refrigerated starch and organic veggie But I have had a hard time trying to find a good one without side effects or artificial sweeteners or all good ingredients except for one or two that I am allergic to..
    On some labels I get excited reading until I see ginseng or macca or some other thing that disagrees with me badly..
    It's such a downer..
    I think to myself...
    No wonder why their are so many people who designed their own..
    It was also nice to mentioned that you might have to beef the shake up with a banana or something to make it more filling.

      See a functional doc. Do you check your blood sugar? My guess is you are carb crashing. Not good. Have you ever tried Keto or Carnivore? These diets help control your ghrelin hormone which signals your brain to eat. Leptin tells it you are full or good. You are using carbs for fuel and energy when you should be using Ketones. What is your BMI? Mine is 20. You can share more details if you want. I know nutrition and wellness very well. Clearly a good Funct. Doc. can test and know more. Not a regular doc. Though you can take those labs to a real wellness person. Docs just want to make you unwell sadly then sell you pills.

    I bought it to replace lunch during the week while working from home because I can't be bothered cooking lunch - I would just make a fatty sandwich every day and my dr. told me to eat less bread.. so this was the "healthy way" out of eating a ton of bread.. I add a handful of berries and almond milk. .so I think im turning it into a 400-450 shake, which hopefully packs a lot more nutrients than my previous white bread sandwich with mayo.. Well I took the leap and subscribed for regular Kachava deliveries as it saves a bunch of $$. It is very interesting to hear you say you’re not hungry after a workout. Same here. I do long distance bike rides and almost have to force calories during and right after. Id love to understand what’s up with that. I too will be adding fruit, coconut water and peanut butter etc to make a true meal “replacement” from kachava. I used it twice a day for a recent road trip and had no side effects but was very hungry. Kachava has advertised a protein bar too. Unless they have some way to sample I won’t be buying that. Hello! I have an issue where for breakfast in particular, I do not have allot of time as I like to sleep as much as possible in the morning. I usually leave myself enough time to eat a bowl of cereal but am cutting it close for arrival at work. I was considering using Kachava as a meal replacement for breakfast only. I usually am not super hungary in the morning. I usually eat cheerios because I like the fact that it is healthy and can lower cholesterol. I am wondering if anybody an help me try some things that might help with this. I usually get mad hungary at 11am an hour before lunch. Thank you for your thoughts.

      Darren D, I'm not a certified nutritionist, but I do know what works for me. If I'm in a hurry and can't eat breakfast, I will make either a protein drink (add some berries like blueberries or blackberries to it) or a Ka'Chava shake and eat a handful of almonds with it. I like having protein in the morning as it keeps me satiated. If I ate cereal in the morning, I would be "mad hungry" at 11am too. I hope that helps, but try following a good trainer who also knows a lot about nutrition and it will help. I follow Magnus Lygdback on the Playbook App ($1 a month) and he's got an outstanding and simple nutrition plan. Best of luck!

    As a channel titled fitness and finance, I think you should’ve covered an important aspect of this product- the price. It’s quite expensive at 5$ per serving

      Barad-dûr, this was a follow up review and I put the price in my first video here. ruclips.net/video/y8ilYFW747c/видео.html. But that's a weak excuse and you are right, I should have "reiterated" the price for people who didn't see my first video. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching!

    The problem is its like water you drink all your calories and you are NOT suppose to eat anything else. If you know yourself and know you do not have the will power to stop eating you will drink the shake AND continue eating to feel full so you know whats that going to look like. The trick is to know thyself.

      Yes...it takes self discipline and patience to learn a new habit. Hard work.

      The thing is, I have no need to lose weight. I’m 6 feet in 155 pounds. The advertisement acts like it’s a meal replacement. No way.

      @@harrisonclark4382 its for people who have a busy schedule and athletes so they do not poop themselves in competition. ruclips.net/video/awCE_B9lzMk/видео.html This less likely to happen on a liquid diet. Its FAST CALORIES when you cant eat.
