- Hava Nagila by 'Amrutam Gamaya' a cover of “Hava Nagila” (הבה נגילה Havah Nagilah, "Let us rejoice") an Israeli folk song traditionally sung at Jewish celebrations. It is considered to be perhaps the first modern Israeli folk song in the Hebrew language that has become a staple of band performers at Jewish weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.

FABULOUS! I am an Israeli and I have heard HAVA NAGILA A MILLION TIMES, and this version was, in my opinion, one of the best; a delight to the ears, heart and soul. Any Israeli who disagrees, is ignorant of the history of this song. She sings the song with joy and pure delight. Kol ha Kavod to Amrutam Gamaya. By the way, we have many Indian Jews in Israel, and I have no doubt they are truly enjoying Amrutam singing one of our folk songs.

It's stunning indeed! I see for the first time in my life Indians perform Jewish songs. Although, to be fair, I've also never seen Israelites performing Indian songs.

At an AJC national event a few years ago we had some Indian Jews who shared their experience about living in india and they were the ONLY Jews who said they had never experienced anti - semitism in all their lives while living in India! Hinduism is truly a peaceful religion and the Indians are truly accepting of all people. This rendition of a Jewish folk song being sung by Amrutan has brought tears to my eyes! We can all learn from Amrutan and all Hindus and Indians can teach the world about peace. Thank you for the most wonderful rendition of our folk song!

Are you kidding ? I like india too but it´s certainly not the peaceful country you describe, there is castes who are truly no justice, indians don' t like pakistanese (who dont like them too) ok theres a lot of religion in country and they coexist well but theres lot of unjustice between castes

very very good version well done good job, i'm hazan( cantor of synaguog) and nothing to say about your version. it's very similar to he work of the group "habreha israel" and shlomo bar (from the 70's), who also worked with indian mucisian and mix well occidental song with asian song. don't stop !! there a lot of jewish traditonal song waiting for your talent , all of you ;)

I'm a big fan of Hava Nagila...especially after seeing some unheard stories of Aushwitz...I felt emotion and pain and the joy to over come the pain...and find proud, a fellow Indians respect it and sing it and maintaining its true essence.....
