i have wanted to head down to commercial drive and try the down low chicken.....but i heard there were big long stupid lineups out the door and down the block. is it still that crazy busy?
The crazy things is places have no ideas left its either make it spicier and spicier or add bacon or pickles lol. Which amazes me they actually spend advertising on something that can be added extra anyways
So I guess Fast food is exempt from the bag fees but McD’s charging them anyway. Was at DQ a few days ago, no bag charge there and also had plastic cutlery! So luxurious compared to those wooden one’s bullshit
In my city the Big Mary and the Big Pickler are both $11. Mary Brown’s is known to be expensive so I’m not surprised. I think their food is worth the price; it’s incredibly delicious.
$11 for a single chicken sandwich is daylight robbery. No fast food sandwich of any kind from any restaurant is ever worth more than $4, period, full stop.
Whoever commercialized the fried chicken sandwich is a genius. Paying $10 for 1/4 lb of cheap fried chicken on a roll is nuts. You can fry just about anything and it tastes good.
You could buy the batters box which comes with 6 pieces for 20$ and remove the bones and prob have enough meat to make 4 or 5 sandwiches if u add your own buns plus it comes with taters/fries, biscuits and gravy. All that for the avg price of 2 small chicken sandwiches.
That price! Just to have a few more pickle in every bite & pickles are cheap asf! I'd understand if it had 8 slices of bacon or had double chicken breast!
i'm not a huge pickle fan. I do like the store bought sweet mini gherkin pickles in a jar. Great in blt sandwiches or just by themselves or sliced thin on top of a burger. So i could see ordering a Mary Brown monday chicken sandwhich and taking it home, adding sweet gherkins to it. Otherswise, the monday cheap special good enough , no pickles.
Harvey's has a really good garlic dill sauce now. Throw a couple deep fried pickles in a burger with a bunch of regular pickles and you can finally get a good pickle burger.
Yeah I honestly have started to give up on buying overpriced fast food these days. Everything has gone up but fast food just isn't worth it anymore. I'm surprised people are still willing to go to these places. Unhealthy and expensive not a good combo!
This price gauging is not sustainable, it just isn't....All these restaurants will go down if they keep increasing prices. More & more people will just eat at home.
"Pickles" is one of my favorite episodes of Spongebob, even though I don't care for them. Mary Brown is the one that's going to pay the price for this, $11 is damn right ridiculous. 🥒🔨
I checked the app last Monday and no it’s not half price like it should for only switching mayo for ranch and adding pickles. Especially for $11. Company’s now think “oh we added an ingredient for $4 more! People will see the value and our profits will roar!” Sadly most of them are correct.
A big Mary’s sandwich here in Windsor is $10.99
Rick Sanchez liked it
Character from Rick and morty cartoon
Good!
@@JFRJesse Yeah :D
One apple in the basket on the kitchen counter. Two hanging bananas. One apple.
Agree 100%, $11 for a chicken burger without cheese and/or bacon is unacceptable
Agreed
Looks good
I live in the U.S. Never even heard of Mary Brown's..Interesting.🙃🤔
It's a Canadian thing.
Do you like baby pickles or the regular sized pickles more?
Regular.
Hey Jesse, where do you work?
No charge for the bag? Are fast food places doung this now?
McDonald's
It costs an arm and a leg
KFC has 10 hot wings bucket for $10 for a limited time. If you'd like that would be a good review.
Okay
$11 i eat and drink for 2 days lol.
The best chicken sandwich i've had was from Boston pizza surprisingly. Wasn't cheap tho like $20
Mary Browns was way off on the price on this one, but other than that it looked alright and I could hear the crunch!
Not bad.
If this product was included on the Mary Monday half off pricing what score would you give it?
7
NEVER CHANGE NOW
Thanks for the review !
Can you do the casa da mama frozen deluxe pizza? I can see you giving it an 8 or a 9. It's one of the best and might be the best frozen pizza
Big Mary is only worth it on Mondays. It's not big enough for the regular price.
I thought the ranch would go good with those pickles. I agree though too much
If you're ever in Vancouver, you gotta try Downlow Chicken. Best chicken sandwiches!
Copy
i have wanted to head down to commercial drive and try the down low chicken.....but i heard there were big long stupid lineups out the door and down the block.
is it still that crazy busy?
Have to admit it is unreal how many people will fall for this scam, switching a couple ingredient's and raising the price through the roof
Yes.
Buy 2 big Mary’s on Monday (with spicy mayo) and add your own pickles
This.
That's the real secret menu
This definitely needs lettuce and tomatoes at least. Especially for that price.
Great that you counted the pickles, nice touch. I count the Swedish meatballs in my frozen dinners to make sure it matches the box, so i can relate 🙂
Haha nice.
The crazy things is places have no ideas left its either make it spicier and spicier or add bacon or pickles lol. Which amazes me they actually spend advertising on something that can be added extra anyways
yeah
I can't get on board with Mary Brown's.
Nope
Loved the share 😊
Can you review the Tex Supreme from Church's? It's my favourite chicken sanwhich
Eventually.
didn't know canada had Churches chicken. I always hear its either amazing or bland
So I guess Fast food is exempt from the bag fees but McD’s charging them anyway. Was at DQ a few days ago, no bag charge there and also had plastic cutlery! So luxurious compared to those wooden one’s bullshit
Nice.
That one chunk of chicken knew what was coming and tried to get away😂
Haha
Fast food in general is way too expensive.
In my city the Big Mary and the Big Pickler are both $11. Mary Brown’s is known to be expensive so I’m not surprised. I think their food is worth the price; it’s incredibly delicious.
$5 Big Mary Mondays
Are they those weird sweet pickles like KFC or regular ones
Regular
Man i went there just after you left lol i ended up getting like 15 pickles on it shes like are you a youtuber lol or do you just love pickles
No way, haha
i'm sad we don't have marybrowns here. i love pickles, i always ask for extra pickles
When Its a high priced Item Its always a fail.
$11 for a single chicken sandwich is daylight robbery. No fast food sandwich of any kind from any restaurant is ever worth more than $4, period, full stop.
It’s too bad it’s a good sandwich but just outrageous price
Yup, can get 2 Big Mary's on Mondays from that price instead.
bro 11 dollars for a sandwich. 💀
Cheap price eh? 😂
Use to be 2 for 5 bucks, now one for more than double that!

This price doesn’t tickle my pickle.
I always order 2 big Mary‘s on Mondays with extra pickles. They usually give me 3 or 4 for free.
Mary browns new pregnancy craving menu
Hahaha
if you look closely, jesse sporting a baby bump.
i'm not a huge pickle fan.

Redeeming on the app is beyond aa joke
Let’s go Jesse!!!! 🎉

I hope this pickle burger is good, would be even better with dill!
11$ god. Its hard to justify, you can get a medium 1-topping pizza at domino's for $8.99 and that feeds for at least 2 meals and imo is delicious.
This price gauging is not sustainable, it just isn't....All these restaurants will go down if they keep increasing prices. More & more people will just eat at home.

Good idea about the mary monday extra pickles. Whats with you and firetrucks!
Good question!
@@JFRJesse 🤣🤣
Yeah, double the price of a Monday special is taking the pizz here Just and dealt with in an appropriate fashion
I could see you was fired up to try this burger with all those pickles.
I always just do the Big Mary Monday deal and get extra pickles.
This guy is always going on about firetrucks😂
FDS firetruck derangement syndrome
Have you ever lived on a fire truck route? 😮

We live in the smokanagan. He's in kamloops where the fire centre is... lots of sh!t on fire in BC during the summer.
lol a big Mary with extra pickle, hold the lettuce and ranch instead of mayo. Fast food places are charging way too much these days
lol what a rip a big Mary with extra pickles and put ranch on it . What a joke
🚒 🚒🚒
3
Lost me at ranch eww. So $6 more for extra pickles hard pass
I checked the app last Monday and no it’s not half price like it should for only switching mayo for ranch and adding pickles. Especially for $11. Company’s now think “oh we added an ingredient for $4 more! People will see the value and our profits will roar!” Sadly most of them are correct.
Yep
So far, McDonald's is the only one charging for take-out bags.
Average pickler at best
Haha
Nah this shit a scam for sure I love me a pickle but this ain’t worth $12
Mary browns is a rip off.. they always have been..
Hey
