Am I the only one that actually likes the cutscenes, characters and plot in this game? It's overall atmosphere. I think it's great. I feel the devs did put some love there.
If it's an Indie game, then yeah. Pretty great for an indie. AAA company? Bad game but still with great concept and great gameplay overall. Best way I can put it lol. I just bought it for 30 bucks. Definitely not worth for 65 bucks however. 20 bucks should have been the price minimum. But I don't regret it still. I love the overall design and concept AND gameplay lol. Plus, I been MEANING to want another Metal Gear Rising game! Mean reason really. We don't get any Ninja Cyberg video games at all now days!! So this is so unique 👍.

@@Link-zm2uz that's their opinion. Mine is it's well worth $30. You have to learn the mechanics to appreciate it like any other game. If you played beat'em ups or early 00's and enjoyed that era of titles it's for you. If ur CoD, dark souls type player then you should pass on it

Honestly when this game was shown all i could think was: I hope that this game would do well so that we could get another stab at Wet, if wanted: dead had more john woo in it it would be a great successor.

Man I payed full price for this game, got to the end, hit a game breaking bug on the last level. Can happen on series x and ps5. It’s like a 50/50 chance. You have to restart completely. Still they haven’t pushed one patch since release. Really fun game but the last quarter of the game crashes constantly and has one big bug.
I was planning on getting this one on sale as the funds are kinda low to be buying this one for $60 right now

Watching friends and streamers play was such a palette cleanser after Forspoken. It's shit, I love it lol. It's doing everything I adore about the 6th and 7th Gen but sadly the price tag is a bit iffy for the time being. I'm definitely getting it the moment it goes on a reasonable sale!

Just bought the game because of this video lol! THANK YOU!! Not sure why the development fell short but the game overall still SUPER fun to play and the soundtracks are INSANE!!! I Love the designs as well. I get the negative critics though. But still glad to have paied for this game. Zero regret. And I know I will play this over and over again once I finally beat it HAHA!
I bought it for 20€. Had lot of fun with it. But if you bought it for 50€ I feel your pain.
The story sucks and the voice acting is terrible but when you get used to the combat, it really shines. I'm having a blast with it.

Your gun tho not powerful is one of the most important pieces in your arsenal, notice you have one quick step, then your gun acts as another move but chains your combo.. dont lose the combo then activate both thumb sticks to activate John Wick mode then simply perform on each enemy constantly to never lose combo and boom room fulls just die

Aight since this is sponsored there probably won’t be good critique from him so I’ll do it.
This is clearly a project of love with lacking time and the budget behind it to back it up. This game has a style it wants to achieve and it’s everything at the same time without actually committing to one which leaves you wondering what this games actually wants to be. The game is super short ( I went through about 4+ hours)
The voice acting is unfortunately not good enough to justify price neither does the visual or the cutscene animations in any way. The story is a huge mess and which makes it almost look like a slapstick comedy movie. The game is quite buggy to an extend where some enemy boss was not spawning. I wouldn’t waste my 60 bucks on it but maybe when it’s a nice 15 or so. But don’t take my word for it. Buy the game - put on a 2hour timer and then you can still refund it in case you don’t like it
Just bought it for 30 bucks. And you're 100 correct lol. HOWEVER!! I still love the game overall. Why? Been wanting another MGS-Rising Cyberg Ninja game WITH an actual team lol! And the soundtracks are fucking INSANE!! And designs awesome! So yeah, my current current love towards this game is 90% personal. Otherwise, from a none bias perspective, nah........this game isn't worth 60 bucks lol!
Movement and combat look bit stiff and unatural! I think A.i. will help with those things too in the future, like generate slight random variations into all sort of animations to prevent that you see the same exact move for hundreds of times!

Well i have been playing this game alot but i am afraid i had to give up towards the end on normal. i got fed up of the cybernetic ninjas especially the white ones while dealing with no ammo and no health left especially guns that would hurt you shooting over cover which was crazy. especially on the levels where Doc is not available to revive you and give you 2 health packs. i just could not take it anymore so deleted it. then i thought i would try Gungrave Gore to see what its like as never played them before in past did not like it at all deleted it and installed Resident Evil 2 Remake which will be fun i know.

Had to refund this one. It was sooooo bad in every aspect, how a game like Deadpool that has been out for many years have better mechanics and gameplay than this (Deadpool being a very mid game)

Sword combos? trash. Bosses? trash. Maps? the same trash for hours. Literally Gunz does everything this game attempted to do but better, and its free

This game sucks
In many respect the gameplay of Wanted Dead happily reminds me of the fighting levels in True Crime Streets Of LA where after stunning an enemy leaves em open to Nick Kang's finishing moves that can put em down in one or three moves. But math chief is playing it wrong by ( as Mack WAB points rolling around like a prick) you're meant to use a combination of block n parry counter attacks, isolate enemies and occassionally fall back to so your squad can whittle down their health so Hanna Stone can finish em off that goes double for the cyborg ninjas. He also missed a lot of easy finishing kills by rolling on the ground like a belend. Should also upgrade Hanna's skills especially the katana & defence trees also upgrade the ammo capacity for 78round AK mag & the incendiary grenades to help.

I was confused by that either way let me know how u feel even more I am sure to purchase this game in the future I got way to many games to beat on the headrest difficulty right now an either way wanted is on my list
@@hilt999 The game has generally short duration of 3-5hrs to complete. Though WD took me longer cus I wanted to take my time enjoying grounded combat by restarting the whole level to get different outcomes. I was bout to snatch up CODMW2019 when I saw it was brought over from buggernet to steam at %50 discount but decided not to due to the game's over bloated file payload even if you go into DLC management options just to play the campaign which is all I am interested in still takes up all the real estate on 1TB SSD not to mention its still an money/data gouging live service racket so I won't be removing the titanium padlock from my wallet until activithief update the CODMW2019 n Cold War with a hugely reduced file size of around 40GB maximum and with singleplayer as an seperate installation just like the previous CODs.
