Hey Scotty. So I have fought Floyd 3 times now. Loss/Win/Loss. So I have completed 30 challenges, 10 at a time. From my experience: there is no daily limit and they do not reset each day. They reset after each time you actually face him whether you win or lose. However my player 2 challenges did reset each time because I just play as “guest” on that controller for these challenges so they don’t save. My 1st fight, it took me a couple days to get my 10. 2nd fight (since thethinys list is confirmed now) it only took me a couple hours. 3rd fight was the same, a couple hours. Between all 3 attempts, I only had a couple challenge repeats each time. I think I have a pretty good grip on each, if not most now. It can be frustrating, but just try to enjoy it. Glad to try to help out anyone in need. Or if anyone just wants to check out the map, I can do that too. Good luck to everyone!
Thanks for the tips I’m also thinking. There’s challenges not discovered yet as the sheet does mention it. Or perhaps I’m not doing them in a certain way. Yet I’m doing them as others, and even other methods too. Makes sense though the 1st time would be the hardest. I got a Floyd clue in match for “This is where you fall” tried it every which didn’t trigger. Same for the rest but hey at least I’m just 1 away. No big deal it will happen when it happens. 🎈

yeah i also guessed there are 10 challenges open until you complete them, no resets inbetween or anything like limits, because i did 2 in the Conan towers, then 6 at once when i actually focused on the challenges .. Some questions to the challenges though: was the Demonic Duo one of your active challenges? because they've updated it like 5 times now and would be curious what worked for you if you had it. Also, the Baraka story challenge, did you do just this chapter or the fight with Ashrah afterwards as well? And the Frosty one, some say just put Deep Freeze on yourself and get hit, others say you have to use the kameo throw as well etc
@@nergal2741 I have not had the Demonic Duo one yet, so not positive on that one, but when I cross it off my list, I start the match and empty my bar. Then fill all 3 bars (which takes 4 Sareena blessings). I saw it update so now it say you need to do that process 3 times, but I can’t verify that. As far as Baraka, I did get that one. After the TYM I played it safe and just fought Ashrah next (I did skip the movies in between), then left and went to local versus, and got the pop up right as the match started. And I also got Deep Freeze twice. Both times I had sub kameo feeeze me, then had opponent hit me and freeze and I threw a regular Subzero ice ball right at them (I saw a video online of someone doing this also so I just played it safe), and then I had kameo sub freeze me again, but then throw me at the opponent. So basically, I did all 3 things. When my frozen statue hit the opponent, the Floyd riff instantly triggered. Side note, you can also skip the movies in between the story mode pyramid challenge. I have had that one twice.
@@Edenia93 I think that’s just an old note still at the bottom. I believe the 37 challenges listed are all of them. As far as Floyd showing up with a specific klue, the word on the block is he just tells you 1 of 37 klues, not necessarily one of your personal klues. Kind of misleading if that is indeed the case. But are there specific challenges you are questioning? Also, try to only do one challenge per match, that way you can be more sure of exactly which challenge you completed. I think a lot of the confusion is coming from this. For example, people might try the “I’m down Too” and walk up to the opponent doing only down 2 uppercuts and then at the end the guitar riff pops and they check that off the list. However, if they didn’t jump the whole match either, that could actually be the challenge they triggered. Or… it’s possible they got both challenges at the same time, but you still only get one guitar riff, and that’s what’s leading to the confusion of people thinking they got the Floyd fight in less than 10 challenges. On the same note, make sure each guitar riff is specifically under your name on your side. I’ve had several riffs show up under my player 2 side, and those will not count towards your 10, they count for player 2’s 10. This is what makes the first go around so confusing I think. I’m sure I crossed off the wrong ones on first try as well, but luckily eventually got him. Good luck, and feel free to ask anything.
Id you're worried about player 2's challenges confusing you just need to remember that the notification for player 2 appears on the right side of the screen where their profile appears. Your challenge notifications appear on the left.
Is there a specific round? I have been trying to build enough bar to use a breaker (to get to absolute zero) then using the blessing 4 times in a row to get 100% meter.
@ToxikBones1 I did it on the first round and set the timer to infinite. As soon as the round starts to do down back 2 ex special move so you have zero meter and then do the jataka kameo move
Just beat him couple hours ago! ❤ I notice some struggle with Frosty! The spreadsheet got updated recently, but its Sub Zero/Sub Zero mirror match. You gotta do the clone parry AND throw for it to work. I advise everyone to learn a bit of Shao, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Ashrah, Mileena, Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Johnny just incase your last challenge features them

I found Floyd and he kicked my butt. Using subzero and scorpion I beat him in the first round and he just threw me around like a ragdoll after that. He is no joke. The best advice I can give is do not repeat moves or combos when you change up your moves it confuses him and you get like a 2 second puse as he reads your next attack. Even though I lost it was a lot of fun. On to my next attempt. Good luck to you all. ✌️

I have the Switch ver and right when I went into the game and clicked on the first Conan demo tower (on the far left side) the very first fight right when the announcer said "FIGHT" I immediately got a Floyd token (my first one ever yay). I have no idea how this happened cause it was right before I could even click any buttons and I didn't do anything else in the game at that time. The only thing I could think of is perhaps it could've been the doing Daily Challenges twice one since after i beat that opponent I got the Daily Challenge and the day before I also got the Daily Challenge. Or maybe it was the Kombat Profile one. I really have no clue since I wasn't even attempting to do Floyd challenges right when I got into the game.

Also when it says 'You can do them offline on very easy' at the bottom of the doc is that referring to the Klassic Towers or is it referring to Versus Local or something else entirely? MK1 is my first MK game and although I've owned it since Christmas 2023 I'm still unsure as to a lot of the terminologies used in the kommunity. I finally got him. Here's a huge tip that kept me unlocking him... make sure you don't have the auto mash on in story mode during Barakas test your might.
So far I only did One of these Challenges that I don’t know what I did although while it might be difficult but it’s not impossible, the best option will be to No Think, just Do, but I’m going to be honest I just found out that Conan’s Bull Animality you can see his Textecles that Motaro doesn’t have which I find it Shocking and Funny.
I have done 9 challenges so far, I've completed all 37, and now I'm just stuck at a dead end. I plugged in my second controller and signed into my sisters account so that I could redo some of the one's that weren't assigned to me just in case. But then I started to notice that my sisters account would start getting the challenges marked as complete for her account, I brushed it off and continued. But then a Floyd hint popped up in the beginning of a match that said "Ice & Fire," so I assumed that the Ice & Fire challenge was my last I must complete for me. I've done it multiple times and I have gotten no conformation at all. So, I'm assuming the hint was towards my sisters account and not mine?
Just like I knew there’s something that won’t trigger. There may be some glitch or bug yet others are like no way. Meanwhile I mean c’mon? Some are up to 11 challenges completed and still not yet. It was never going to be easy but there’s some unseen variable. The spreadsheet is very helpful but for many they can’t fight him yet. Just keep trying every new day that’s all you can do.
I didn't go into full detail at the end, but pretty much he thought I was in on a big behind the scenes control plan to keep players in the game and that other creators and I brewed this up. I had to share it, it's been one of the goofier moments I've had here and got a little kick out of it. For real, best luck to y'all and grats on those who are finished!
ay Scotty.. i got the floyd fight last night after about 4 days of grinding.. i wasn’t keeping track for the first few klues so it made it tricky towards the end but ended up facing him as Ashrah and i got whooped 3 times.. trying again for klues and am currently on 7.. hopefully i can fight him as Scorpion this time
@ good news.. i got him on my third run through of the challenges.. second time i got the fight with General Shao and didnt stand a chance but finally took him down with Sub Zero 👌🏼
I’ve done all challenges twice and I’m stuck on 9 tokens anyone got any advice? I’ve done the challenges over and over again and I even learn all the characters in the challenges just in case he pops up and still no fight. Any advice?
I feel like I'm pretty close to finding floyd. I'm trying to do most of the challenges with sektor so that way maybe I'll have a better chance with beating him with my main because from what I've heard and seen he's pretty difficult to beat🤣
Fingers crossed man, I feel it too. I hit a streak and then its been quiet, I have a feeling its around the corner. The amount of comments I've seen lost to Floyd is about the same as those who won! Definitely seems like a challenge but we got this! ✊
@@migek Ashrah's not in my wheelhouse either. Many MK players are re-entering the fight with Floyd. Some still haven't even made it where you have. You've got this ✊
i've seen people with only 1 match where they have to beat floyd, im guessing they're final challenge got completed while in a local match where you can manually set the matches from 2 to 1 so i suggest doing the challenges u can't compete in a local match first and then trying the rest there.
I complete most of my challenges on single round versus fights, gone straight into fight Floyd from there 3 times now, and each fight has been normal 3 round fights with him. So not sure if they had a bug or just modded to get that, but prepare to need to win 2 rounds against this beast. Good luck!
Let me just confirm it now because I’ve seen others really do it. You can’t fight him at 400 fights, it’s just a clue that once again may not be active for you. WTF??? My mistake but it is was cool while it lasted. Having said that, the clues are freaking ANNOYING. 😂 I’m still stuck at 9 like many others we are stuck. There is a daily limit of some kind, so if you do challenges that aren’t active for you. Well that’s it… you gotta wait until the next day about a 12 hr refresh! To try again and hopefully, hopefully trigger the right challenge. There’s like 4-5 tries you got PER DAY. If you do the wrong ones well once again hard locked until the 12hr refresh. 😂 Anyway that’s my update hope everyone is having a chill Sunday. 🍵
@@tizz1__937ngl the Floyd challenge is more of a hassle than even the old days ngl. You do get a cool stage, nameplates, and pink skins for Scorpy/Subby. Though it is a hassle getting there ngl but well? It’s a one time thing, and I’m close so I do want to complete it but I understand you.
@tizz1__937 floyd is not a playable character you can only fight him but if you use the mk1 hook mod on pc you can play as him in a practice match or a local match against the computer
I got 1 on the first day this challenge was playable. Scorpion with scorpion kam. Do the animal transformation at end. Yesterday I got 5 of them. I need 4 more.

I got Floyd while I was doing one of scorpions challenges and I was not ready he mopped the floor with me but on the final fight I managed to kill him and it was so painful😭
I found all 10 clues the chart is legit, but he is not easy to fight for a regular fighter take some time to fine tune your champion cause good lord even after 3 attempts I was sweating he is very fast!
Can you play with someone online to do challenges? I'm thinking about the Ashrah & Sareena challenge, because I don't have a second controller to help me. I did a few challenges unknowingly before I started to do them from the old list, and eventually I randomly started the Floyd fight with Conan. Not my main, so I lost. Started doing challenges again, and they are now different from the few challenges that I remember from the first time. Got eight of them so far, and I'm sure I've attempted them all. (Except the Sareena & Ashrah meter build challenge.) But the Reptile change is new to me. I'll give it a go later, and double check the others just in case I didn't do them right... with my main fighter, of course. 🙂
Hang in there. I know the TheThiny said on that list there’s no daily hard lock but for some clearly there is. You can do every single challenge and nada! That’s what irks me. Meanwhile others trigger them? It’s a mess tbh. Also there is other unknown challenges not yet listed but mentioned on the bottom of the list. So that could be it, we may have those undiscovered clues active but since nobody knows them. Then? Yup it’s a headache but at least you close! 🎉
I'm Praying that my final Challenge isn't character specific. I really don't want to get caught playing Liu Kang or Johnny Cage when i eventually find Floyd.
It’s doable. I had to fight him with Reptile (and I had never played Reptile before except for story mode), and I still beat him with only using d2 and a view specials I looked up on the spot. But it was very close 😅
Hey Scotty, are the Invasions seasons canon? I just thought about it looking through the "Invasions Movie" Kollection. Also, in Mileena's "Huntress Season" I think the wrong skins were uploaded as we got the mohawk skins that I hate. LOL. I'm wondering if redoing the Mileena season will provide us with the correct skins. I believe those skins were supposed to have a pink theme. 🤔
They said its Canon early on, they said everything is. Also, yeah S4 is 100% Havik's and they pulled a whoops lol. The first 5 minutes of S4 said season of chaos and it went back down and came back up as season of huntress but the rewards stayed the same lol. I hope they fix S4 this time around. There is a screenshot of S4 season of chaos by a player before it shut down when that did happen on google lol. The invasions stories can be pretty fun imo
All I can say this shits rigged. I have a feeling it's only 4_5 challenges a day. I just did chapter 15 reach the pyramid same as macxillmilan dood did. And I used Shang tsung and went to local match used Shang not changing players and no Floyd guitar rift
What do you mean beat him twice to unlock him he's not a playable character all you get for beating him is pink skins for scorpion and sub zero and a new field stage
Double reptile does work for me and don't do easy computer versus because they still fight back like it's a online tournament for some reason f this game
He's too hard to beat, and there's no point even going against him if he's just incredibly hard. I'm not an experience like some other people, and there's other people that are like me that can't beat him. So what's the point of even looking for him?
You get a beautiful stage and pretty cool cosmetics. The process of finding him and eventually fighting him is also pretty exciting and fun. For me it was absolutely worth it :)
I need advice, ive done 7 so far and have gone through the whole list, strangely my first day i was able to only get 4, then last night got it up to 7, i kept redoing the challenges from 1-37 again and couldn't get anything else, am i doing something wrong? One i struggle with is the Kung Lao hat trick one though because im not a kung lao main, and the fatality one, as it sometimes registers the fatality as an Animality frustratingly on the third or 5th fatality, but other then that, im confused on what else i could be doing wrong.

Just make sure u do the weekly challenge mine didnt start until i did that
I finally beat Floyd, and he was super fast, and you just gotta be patient with him and don't rush it. And he will taunt sometimes.

So far I only did One of these Challenges that I don’t know what I did although while it might be difficult but it’s not impossible, the best option will be to No Think, just Do, but I’m going to be honest I just found out that Conan’s Bull Animality you can see his Textecles that Motaro doesn’t have which I find it Shocking and Funny.
I have done 9 challenges so far, I've completed all 37, and now I'm just stuck at a dead end. I plugged in my second controller and signed into my sisters account so that I could redo some of the one's that weren't assigned to me just in case. But then I started to notice that my sisters account would start getting the challenges marked as complete for her account, I brushed it off and continued. But then a Floyd hint popped up in the beginning of a match that said "Ice & Fire," so I assumed that the Ice & Fire challenge was my last I must complete for me. I've done it multiple times and I have gotten no conformation at all. So, I'm assuming the hint was towards my sisters account and not mine?
Just like I knew there’s something that won’t trigger. There may be some glitch or bug yet others are like no way. Meanwhile I mean c’mon? Some are up to 11 challenges completed and still not yet. It was never going to be easy but there’s some unseen variable. The spreadsheet is very helpful but for many they can’t fight him yet. Just keep trying every new day that’s all you can do.
I didn't go into full detail at the end, but pretty much he thought I was in on a big behind the scenes control plan to keep players in the game and that other creators and I brewed this up. I had to share it, it's been one of the goofier moments I've had here and got a little kick out of it. For real, best luck to y'all and grats on those who are finished!
ay Scotty.. i got the floyd fight last night after about 4 days of grinding.. i wasn’t keeping track for the first few klues so it made it tricky towards the end but ended up facing him as Ashrah and i got whooped 3 times.. trying again for klues and am currently on 7.. hopefully i can fight him as Scorpion this time

@ good news.. i got him on my third run through of the challenges.. second time i got the fight with General Shao and didnt stand a chance but finally took him down with Sub Zero 👌🏼
I’ll be hoping on mk1 soon, I think I need 1 or 2 more challenges to kick floyds behind!

I’ve done all challenges twice and I’m stuck on 9 tokens anyone got any advice? I’ve done the challenges over and over again and I even learn all the characters in the challenges just in case he pops up and still no fight. Any advice?
I feel like I'm pretty close to finding floyd. I'm trying to do most of the challenges with sektor so that way maybe I'll have a better chance with beating him with my main because from what I've heard and seen he's pretty difficult to beat🤣
Fingers crossed man, I feel it too. I hit a streak and then its been quiet, I have a feeling its around the corner. The amount of comments I've seen lost to Floyd is about the same as those who won! Definitely seems like a challenge but we got this! ✊

@@migek Ashrah's not in my wheelhouse either. Many MK players are re-entering the fight with Floyd. Some still haven't even made it where you have.

i've seen people with only 1 match where they have to beat floyd, im guessing they're final challenge got completed while in a local match where you can manually set the matches from 2 to 1 so i suggest doing the challenges u can't compete in a local match first and then trying the rest there.
I complete most of my challenges on single round versus fights, gone straight into fight Floyd from there 3 times now, and each fight has been normal 3 round fights with him. So not sure if they had a bug or just modded to get that, but prepare to need to win 2 rounds against this beast. Good luck!
Why are some people saying that they got more than 10 clues done and still got no floyd fight?
Let me just confirm it now because I’ve seen others really do it. You can’t fight him at 400 fights, it’s just a clue that once again may not be active for you. WTF??? My mistake but it is was cool while it lasted. Having said that, the clues are freaking ANNOYING. 😂 I’m still stuck at 9 like many others we are stuck. There is a daily limit of some kind, so if you do challenges that aren’t active for you. Well that’s it… you gotta wait until the next day about a 12 hr refresh! To try again and hopefully, hopefully trigger the right challenge. There’s like 4-5 tries you got PER DAY. If you do the wrong ones well once again hard locked until the 12hr refresh. 😂 Anyway that’s my update hope everyone is having a chill Sunday. 🍵

@@tizz1__937ngl the Floyd challenge is more of a hassle than even the old days ngl. You do get a cool stage, nameplates, and pink skins for Scorpy/Subby. Though it is a hassle getting there ngl but well? It’s a one time thing, and I’m close so I do want to complete it but I understand you.
@tizz1__937 floyd is not a playable character you can only fight him but if you use the mk1 hook mod on pc you can play as him in a practice match or a local match against the computer

I only got 1 challenge done and i don't know what I done. I was Shang Tsung and lost to Sub-Zero
I got Floyd while I was doing one of scorpions challenges and I was not ready he mopped the floor with me but on the final fight I managed to kill him and it was so painful😭
I think you meant to say Chapter 5 for Baraka's Test Your Might Event.
I found all 10 clues the chart is legit, but he is not easy to fight for a regular fighter take some time to fine tune your champion cause good lord even after 3 attempts I was sweating he is very fast!
Can you play with someone online to do challenges? I'm thinking about the Ashrah & Sareena challenge, because I don't have a second controller to help me.
I did a few challenges unknowingly before I started to do them from the old list, and eventually I randomly started the Floyd fight with Conan. Not my main, so I lost. Started doing challenges again, and they are now different from the few challenges that I remember from the first time.
Got eight of them so far, and I'm sure I've attempted them all. (Except the Sareena & Ashrah meter build challenge.)
But the Reptile change is new to me. I'll give it a go later, and double check the others just in case I didn't do them right... with my main fighter, of course. 🙂
Hang in there. I know the TheThiny said on that list there’s no daily hard lock but for some clearly there is. You can do every single challenge and nada! That’s what irks me. Meanwhile others trigger them? It’s a mess tbh. Also there is other unknown challenges not yet listed but mentioned on the bottom of the list. So that could be it, we may have those undiscovered clues active but since nobody knows them. Then? Yup it’s a headache but at least you close! 🎉
I'm Praying that my final Challenge isn't character specific. I really don't want to get caught playing Liu Kang or Johnny Cage when i eventually find Floyd.
It’s doable. I had to fight him with Reptile (and I had never played Reptile before except for story mode), and I still beat him with only using d2 and a view specials I looked up on the spot. But it was very close 😅

Hey Scotty, are the Invasions seasons canon? I just thought about it looking through the "Invasions Movie" Kollection. Also, in Mileena's "Huntress Season" I think the wrong skins were uploaded as we got the mohawk skins that I hate. LOL. I'm wondering if redoing the Mileena season will provide us with the correct skins. I believe those skins were supposed to have a pink theme. 🤔

Also, yeah S4 is 100% Havik's and they pulled a whoops lol. The first 5 minutes of S4 said season of chaos and it went back down and came back up as season of huntress but the rewards stayed the same lol. I hope they fix S4 this time around.
There is a screenshot of S4 season of chaos by a player before it shut down when that did happen on google lol. The invasions stories can be pretty fun imo

All I can say this shits rigged. I have a feeling it's only 4_5 challenges a day. I just did chapter 15 reach the pyramid same as macxillmilan dood did. And I used Shang tsung and went to local match used Shang not changing players and no Floyd guitar rift

He's too hard to beat, and there's no point even going against him if he's just incredibly hard. I'm not an experience like some other people, and there's other people that are like me that can't beat him. So what's the point of even looking for him?

You get a beautiful stage and pretty cool cosmetics. The process of finding him and eventually fighting him is also pretty exciting and fun. For me it was absolutely worth it :)

I need advice, ive done 7 so far and have gone through the whole list, strangely my first day i was able to only get 4, then last night got it up to 7, i kept redoing the challenges from 1-37 again and couldn't get anything else, am i doing something wrong? One i struggle with is the Kung Lao hat trick one though because im not a kung lao main, and the fatality one, as it sometimes registers the fatality as an Animality frustratingly on the third or 5th fatality, but other then that, im confused on what else i could be doing wrong.
