From the miserable life of the "sinful" priest Daniel Kilgore, the dangerous life and mysterious death of secret agent Kurt Kilgore, the posthumous disfunction and animosity between the two brothers, to their merging into a brutal ectoplasm powered superhero; Let's take a look at this unique Image Comics Universe superhero, and supernatural crimefighter. All including a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," to rank this science fiction comic book character.

seeing as Todd McFarlane made venom it's no coincidence this character looks similar. both venom and haunt have the same creater
McFarlane is a legend. Period.

McFarlane is incredibly overrated. He couldn't draw or write for shit, but he did come up with some cool designs and push the boundaries of comics at the time.

Haunt is both Todd McFarlane and Robert Kirkman's creation. People seem to forget that Kirkman made more than just "The Walking Dead" and "Invincible".
If Image Comics actually starts putting characters on the big screen (apart from TMNT) we all know that THIS is the best bet.

@@MrKillerAkuma You are wrong. By the way a fan created Spider-mans black costume and sold the idea to then editor and chief of Marvel comics, Jim Shooter. Originally the black costume was black and red aside from the white eyes and was created for Peter Parker by reed richards. That was the fans idea that was sold. The black costume was introduced in Secret Wars 8 and later explained that it was a symbiotic organism in a subsequent issue of Amazing Spiderman. Todd Mcfarlane co created Venom with Davide Michiline because Todd did not like spiderman in the black costume and wanted spiderman in his original red and blue costume. Todd Mcfarlane penciled and inked the 1st cameo and full appearances of Venom and didn't color anything. So yes Todd Mcfarlane did co create Venom. You should learn things before explaining them. Whoever told you that is an idiot.

Here because of the recent Spawn story arc involving Haunt. Really interesting character. I quickly ordered the TPB and really shocked about the creative team involved. Robert Kirkman, Todd Mcfarlane, Ryan Ottley, and Greg Capullo in a single book? Fuck yeah!

As long as there nothing connecting the characters other then powers you're fine and sense webbing was part of his powers you can do it. Just have to be careful with it.

My opinion I give Haunt a 10 out of 10. He has alot going for him and room to grow, the writers could take this character to the next level and go in so many cool directions. There's something special about him and looking forward to more of HAUNT. He's super awesome 😎
When Capullo first took over penciling duties of Spawn I wasn't impressed but I can't think of a single artist, comic or otherwise, who's improved more dramatically over his career. He should serve as an inspiration to any artist who's not quite happy with their work and proves we can always get better. It's the suckers who think they've "made it" who inevitably fizzle out over time, every time.
His work on Batman during the New 52 era was incredible, he and Scott Snyder are a great team.
He is image version of carnage he is brutal and his costume look's like symbiote and he has a symbol on his chest similar to the logo from the absolute carnage which a lot of symbiotes have on there head and those of art the character look's like Todd McFarlane's spiderman art

I like that painting style alot. Its unique. Witchblade, Spawn, Darkness..Todd is a Genius in Character design. The dark Worlds he created are so ...You see instantly its his work.Beautiful Artwork. Comics are Art, dont care what others say. When i was young i bought every comic twice to use one try to paint pictures out of it. ) Now 20 years later iam a tattoo Artist. Reminds me of the first stage of the Hollowfication process Ichigo Kurosaki experienced in BLEACH and also venom from marvel

Im actually more interested to this guys backstory than with Venom. but, how did they get the power to combine and be a symbiot killing machine thats where im kinda lost.
Ok Daniel the brother that was a priest hated his brother Kurt who was a spy then Kurt is killed by his organization he becomes a ghost and starts being around his brother then when a group of agents want to kill Kurt's wife and try to shoot Daniel he tries to push Daniel out of the way of the bullets but then Kurt being a ghost goes inside Daniels body and that's how haunt is created the symbiote is well ectoplasm that is generated from Kurt possessing Daniels living body and since Daniel is still alive both of their conscious are trying to control the body

I know this has nothing to do with it. But I was just witnessing sleep paralysis. In my dream an entity or spirit was holding me down. I felt it. I was squirming around and broke free and woke up. What does it mean? Was I experiencing my dream in real life as well was I trying to get posses by an entity. If so that fucker was to weak for my body. I am not done using it yet

Haunt is the son of Spiderman and Spawn! Born from the crossover event called "Dr. Doom made us do it and now Spiderman is pregnant!" in Spawn issue 1453 Constantinople version and Amazing Spiderman issue 1492 Columbus edition.
