Incredible to see and hear such a talented musician play the guitar in such a way that it becomes the voice of his soul and there is no signal loss between the two at all. Perfect is not something we get to experience often. This is it.
Check out the version from the Australian ABC Arts - my favourite version, the sound quality is so crisp and clear and Ryley's playing is amazing, but his vocals are something else. I've not heard the emotion and comfort in his voice quite like in that version.
This is really pretty! I don't understand how he plays the bass notes in this piece...it sounds like he just plays the common pattern of picking the alternate bass notes (quarter notes) with his thumb, yet I can't really really see him doing this.
