Pease show us how to make grounding adapter for ethernet DIY ?
for example if you used shielded cable for POE camera and the other end would be connected into the NVR..? how would you properly ground this shielded cable?
Hi Shawn! The NVR would be the ground reference contact. The RJ45 jack should show a silver “bezel” around the RJ45 jack - that shows the jack is shielded. Simply connecting a shielded cable to that jack would suffice without any other connection needed.
