For sure I've always wanted to try to tint my own lights. So far so good with the VHT Nightshade!
After you did the polish there was a huge difference
Yes, that is a must after allowing the VHT dry! SHINNNY!
That's the most important part of the mod
@@GrabinGears for sure!
I like it, i might do it to mine.
It's a cool mod to make your rig look a bit different!
Good shit man , I’ve been thinking about doing this
Pretty easy mod bro! I'm glad with the turn out so far.
Nice video Memo! ✌
Thanks brother KEV!
@@MisterMemo You're welcome Memo ! 👍
I like it on a darker vehicle. Not sure how it would look in a white vehicle.
On lighter vehicles for sure I'd do a lighter tint as well.
Yow bro can you still pass safety inspection with tinted tail lights?
Make sure to follow all local laws before tinting your lights. ;)
As long as it looks red or amber when pressing the brake
Hey Memo what are doing selling DSM parts to the mecos out here in Phoenix????
Soap and water next time no fancy stuff needed, also you mind as well tape Down some of what you don’t want darker
Thanks for your info!
Your first mistake was using the vht nightshade the worst brand you can use and the fade pretty easily the one I use is by a company called Rustoleum and it gives you more gloss goes on a lot easier and you don't have to worry about spotting
We all learn for mistakes. I went with VHT because I wanted to try it. So far so far so good! ;) Thanks for you comment and recommendation!
Vht is the best one.
VHT is better than Rustoleum
What clear coat u using
I just used a regular clear. I need to redo them. The tint faded out and the lights are back to normal. Haha
Yea I've used the vht tint before it fades in like 6 months but I used regular 2x enamel
