Man I appreciate this era of hip hop, when classic videos like this are shot in neighborhoods to represent and show pride where you came from. Also loved when these videos feature all the everyday people that make up the community. The mailman, the single mother, the corner store cashier, the street gamblers, the honest working man, the neighborhood cookout griller, kids running around, young boys popping wheelies on bikes, young girls jump roping, the laid back easygoing fella with a coors light or fruit juice in his hand, and even the police officer. There's this positivity and sense of togetherness that videos like this bring that I miss and wonder if we'll ever get back. Respect to the old CMR for helping to bring this era

This sounds odd to say considering none of the Hot Boys are on it, but to me, THIS, is the quintessential Cash Money song. Maybe it's because the music video illustrates pre-Katrina New Orleans/1990's/early 2000's Cash Money so well, but I think if you had to show a stranger one music video/song to describe CMR in its heyday, this would be it.
