Thank you so much for uploading this. My father was the one that was able to beat this game, I thought it was way too difficult. He is no longer here but seeing you beat the game reminds me of him when he beat it and would show me the end credit.
I got this game with the grey gameboy from my dad as well. I could get to the stage of the flying jet..but that's about it. May ur dad rest in peace bro
Haha same here I took my GameBoy with this game everywhere to my room on school on the streets. Still know the day when I played it all out. I jumped all over the place. Haha awesome time.
I got this game in 1990 when I was six years old... I played it religiously for years and some as an adult yet I have gotten past the Batwing stages but once... only to die within seconds on the next level.
Indeed ! back when games were hard and without stupid rng. Me and my big brother tryed it so many times. He was the first to beat Jack and the Batwing stage but i ve beaten the Cathetral and Joker first. Good memories :)
am5a03 I loved how creepy the music sounds in this game it brings me back to the early 90s I loved this game and the gameboy I still have my original copy of the game from back then
omg this is so nostalgic! I remember those bat boomerangs, it felt so good unloading them onto joker because it pushes him when it hits and that sound effect felt so good for some reason lol
I remembered that it was good, but this was really nothing short of amazing, and it was practically a launch title for the GB. Being surrounded by Batwings so that you're a spinning buzzsaw OF DEATH was my favorite.
I was 3 when I played this... Found after having the chemical place song stuck in my head all day. Amazing that it is the exact same thing I remember. x)
Ugh, I could never get past the Batwing stage boss @21:40. Those stupid button masher stages wore you out and then you had to face this boss with a million bullets to dodge. And I didn't know you could cower in front of him like that to beat him.
Sunsoft coded the very best Batman games on both NES and game boy. And those soundtracks ! Amazing. I replayed those games on emulators a few times, just for the pleasure of this music.
I remember to beat this game over and over when I was 8-9 years old. Hahaha. The batwing stages are f****** insane! It took me hundreds of retries before just to beat the crazy helicopter!!! Hahaha
SunSoft, such an underrated developer. Shame that they didn't get more attention that they did. They're up there with Data East with underrated developers.
Back then it took me forever to realize you could shoot forward in the batmobile stage, I was always going to the right edge of the screen flying past enemies to hit them >_
IS it on th 3DS shop? I would so get it in a heartbeat. I remember pouring hours into this game as a kid. I think I ate through two whole 12-packs of duracells trying to beat this game. So gratifying when I finally beat it.
I was 6 years old when I first played this. Got to the Batwing mission and stayed up all night in agony trying to beat it in the dark. The next morning I threw the game in the toilet, took a crap on it, and then flushed it down the drain.
From my favorite Gameboy games. And it has aged surprisingly well, unlike Spiderman game on Gameboy I used to enjoy as a game but when I re-tried it as an adult I realize how crappy it was.
Such an old game yet the music is better than most games these days lol
Thank you so much for uploading this. My father was the one that was able to beat this game, I thought it was way too difficult. He is no longer here but seeing you beat the game reminds me of him when he beat it and would show me the end credit.
Moving story bro.
I got this game with the grey gameboy from my dad as well.
I could get to the stage of the flying jet..but that's about it.
May ur dad rest in peace bro
Man my childhood.. I think I was 9 or 10 when I played this

Same!! So many memories!!
Trust me folks, it’s way harder than it looks.
WAY harder.
The Holy Mackerel only if you make it to the Batwing stage
I believe that, the jumps were very hard
This game would send today's kids running to their monmies.
I got this game in 1990 when I was six years old... I played it religiously for years and some as an adult yet I have gotten past the Batwing stages but once... only to die within seconds on the next level.
Only the last level and the final boss are hard. The rest is not so difficult.
this game is fxxking hard, one of my childhood nightmare
Especially the batwing stage
I only managed to finish it as an adult lol
Totally agree, never got past the 2nd stage
Indeed ! back when games were hard and without stupid rng.
Me and my big brother tryed it so many times. He was the first to beat Jack and the Batwing stage but i ve beaten the Cathetral and Joker first.
Good memories :)
@@sebra1818 never got past the 1st boss.

Wauw. I remember playing this when I was 7 years old or so. Wauw. The nostalgia man. O_o
Batman's just like screw it I'm using a gun
Sick music, this is what I miss about the 80's & 90's, they really made an effort back then.
got i hate rose tinted glasses. if a modern videogame had music this shitty, it'd be laughed at
I remembered that I could hardly sleep after playing this game as a kid, those monster and background music was frightening. XD
Same here
am5a03 I loved how creepy the music sounds in this game it brings me back to the early 90s I loved this game and the gameboy I still have my original copy of the game from back then
Best Batman game on the Gameboy
Yeah, because Batman shoots with a gun. instantly bad just for that.
how many batman games are on gameboy cause im sure there's only 2. This and return of the joker.
+g-zes Deuce There's also Batman The Animated Series, the rarest one of the bunch. Anyway, ROTJ is ofcourse the best one in the series.
omg this is so nostalgic! I remember those bat boomerangs, it felt so good unloading them onto joker because it pushes him when it hits and that sound effect felt so good for some reason lol

Angry Midget Batman With A Gun has always been my favorite interpretation of the character.
Lmaooo
lol 22:00, didn't know that one back then :D
You don’t need to be even that close to the helicopter to make it work.
I've been stuck on that autoscrolling 4-2 level for 30 years! I hate it!
Amazing that it is the exact same thing I remember. x)
Lil' fat Batman was my fav gameboy game. I used to play it non stop until I finished it. Damn! was I proud. Felt awesome.
Oh, I so want that on the 3DS eShop!!!! I used to love it, but I don't think I ever finished it. Thank you for that great video.
It took me a few times to finish it, and I think it was the best Gameboy Batman game ever to be made.
great play through! i loved this game! great work, thanks for sharing
the music... the memories...
Ugh, I could never get past the Batwing stage boss @21:40. Those stupid button masher stages wore you out and then you had to face this boss with a million bullets to dodge. And I didn't know you could cower in front of him like that to beat him.
Yeah, it was a difficult level.
Some of my best memories (in gaming) are on the Gameboy. Something about these simple games & that music! awesome.

Sunsoft coded the very best Batman games on both NES and game boy. And those soundtracks ! Amazing. I replayed those games on emulators a few times, just for the pleasure of this music.
Never could make it past that fucking Batwing stage. I eventually sold the game. Too hard.
I remember playing this when I was younger omg it was awesome
Best game music ever...
I can't get past the batwing stages. It's hard to see on the old gameboy screen.
The music changes after finishing and also nice music
I remember to beat this game over and over when I was 8-9 years old. Hahaha. The batwing stages are f****** insane! It took me hundreds of retries before just to beat the crazy helicopter!!! Hahaha

SunSoft, such an underrated developer. Shame that they didn't get more attention that they did. They're up there with Data East with underrated developers.
I wish I still had my game boy and this game.
My favorite is the Batwing Stage. Gradius like.
My god how I loved this game
Back then it took me forever to realize you could shoot forward in the batmobile stage, I was always going to the right edge of the screen flying past enemies to hit them >_
Memories, coolest game ever!!!

That was FREAKIN SWEET @ 8:19
16:10 never reached that 1UP in my entire Life .... -.-"
Haha It was a hard one yes ;)
I miss that game. I remember hoping that really wasn't the end.
Nostalgia Overload..
I used to think that the 7:25 "Destroy me" was a suggestion, LOL.
Oh wow, so I've made it to the final level all that time and never actually beat the game?
Hey there me from the past
IS it on th 3DS shop? I would so get it in a heartbeat. I remember pouring hours into this game as a kid. I think I ate through two whole 12-packs of duracells trying to beat this game. So gratifying when I finally beat it.
Nostalgia, back then when graphics didn't matter.
This game was my childhood! Oh my god! Yes!! I used to call the 2nd and 3rd level the hamburger factory haha!
omg.....i did the same. but cant remember why anymore
Great minds think alike!
I remember getting really far in this game, then DYING and had to start ALL OVER!!
i have a game boy and a lot of catridges - i stick to emulators
I was 6 years old when I first played this. Got to the Batwing mission and stayed up all night in agony trying to beat it in the dark. The next morning I threw the game in the toilet, took a crap on it, and then flushed it down the drain.
23:51 Castlevania tune! Awesome!
Icicle Fall at 21:58
From my favorite Gameboy games. And it has aged surprisingly well, unlike Spiderman game on Gameboy I used to enjoy as a game but when I re-tried it as an adult I realize how crappy it was.
I'm still playing this on a Gameboy Colour in 2019.
Furthest I've got is the Batwing level.
Oh, so, there was a batwing stage heh ? XD I would have loved it while young I suppose. If only I would have passed the first levels ^^
Batman shooting with a gun. It's like saying Kratos killing enemies with flowers and love.
Why does Batman have a gun?
Damnnnn, my childhood
I was so bad at this... I was like 6 or something
I could never get past the stage with the moving screen waited 15 years to see the end
First game boy game from my step dad. He bought it in N.Y. city.
batman shooting a gun wtf
9:55 the batarangs remind me of the Injustice Batman! 😄
Childhood Memories 🎮
referring to him as Police Commissioner Gordon was a weird move... lol
After playing this game I remember I wanted to see in the movie the Joker returning in Batman Returns :)
Man it sucks that my gameboy is still at dads house :/ i really want to play it.
The first game I ever completed
I got this on Game Boy and NES
Batwing Stage was the worst. I kept getting killed by the rockets
My God I remember 10:22 & accidentally getting that P. Edge of seat
memories
