I'm still working on the theory stuff, so don't worry it's coming! This vid is mainly a place for all the hints in one place, with not a ton of analysis. Regardless, hope you guys enjoy!
It makes sense to bring Grunt back. Liara needs agents. She knows Grunt. He's the perfect Krogan and after 600+ years, he will be very experienced.
But is it really 600 years ahead? That's the big question.

Okay, so I have this wild theory. This game is about the benefactor. The security footage is either from when this mysterious benefactor killed Jien Garson, or their new motive within the Andromeda galaxy (possibly former cerberus sent to make 2.0? Her VI subtly hinted that possibility when it said "she regrets association with this benefactor, as she questioned their motives in supporting the Initiative.") This game is going to take place in both galaxies as the security footage is more than likely footage the shadow broker is viewing from her (Liara) headquarter. Liara is important here because the only two people who knew the benefactor was Jien Garson and Alec Ryder (whom was in contact with Liara). My guess is the milky way squad will be the ones to hunt the benefactor in the Andromeda galaxy as Liara may be the only hope we have at solving their identity because of her ties with Alec.

In ME2 there's a shot of Miranda walking which starts from the feet then slowly pans up - very similar to this shot. it's near the beginning of her quest to save her sister on Ilium.
Very similar stride.
Interesting! Not sure it's Miranda though, but that's only cause I'm working on my crazy theory lol.

the planet we see reminds me a lot of Tuchanka. I was thinking Benning at first but the amount of dust sort of rules that out. If it's a known planet Ontarom might fit the bill but an obscure refence to a side mission/MP mission planets feels unlikely. But i swear we've seem a very similar background somewhere in one of the promotional images.
The colouring definitely matches Tuchanka, but the sky cars don't (unless there's a huge time jump). I can't place it from the images we've seen so far, but who knows?
So I did find the ME3 Wallpaper i was looking for. It was an official Liara wallpaper but I cannot track down the original on bioware's site. Not sure where she is. It kind of looks like Mars maybe but the building shape fits. When I was digging around a bit i could definitely see the same shape of the building in the background in pictures we have of mars. Seems a stretch but eh idk I'm with you on not seeing many bones so I'm grasping at straws i suppose.

The canisters remind me of a shrunken down version of the citadel vaults

I will travel to the ends of the galaxy to get a coat like that. and yes I expect the coat and armor are integrated into one piece.

Their are somewhat similar looking canisters on the Citadel in ME2 on level 26, where you meet 'Fade' 😂

I think honestly the head turn seems to be that they know they are being followed and the little nod is her like a “hm I know someone’s there but I have something more important to do.” so I’ll carry on and whip my gun out 😂

Of course Liara has more than one pair of boots.......we've seen her snow boots, breaking into unknown facility boots and hopefully the next ones we see will be her meeting up with Shepard boots.
I imagine it must be in the future as the uniform is very different, or is it an alternate universe where they are all more stylish and trendy? Wait until you see what the Krogan behind is wearing
I imagine she's turning and saying "hurry up, I need to get this helmet off, my tentacles are killing me" 😅
Perhaps the container in her pocket is dark energy she just stole from this facility, which may also be inside those canisters, dangerous......
Glad you mentioned the limp, even though you can't see it, it's even more pronounced when she walks off to the outside. It must be significant so it's a bone!
Maybe the biggest bone is this is the end sequence of our next game, nearly ready for release 🤞

Miranda is the agent everyone is over analyzing this the way she walks the way she draws her weapon LOOK at her HANDS
The planet could be the Volus homeworld, with an Ammonia atmosphere. They are also rich so cities make sense.
I think ammonia atmospheres are primarily blue, just based on planet codex stuff I noticed in the games. But again, I'm definitely not an atmosphere scientist lol
I jokingly said I think it was last year on mr. hulten or was it kala channel anyway don't matter that the next game would be the rise of the volus...maybe I was right hahaha :P

The atmosphere reminds me of the concept art from a few years back, where some aliens were wearing masks to filter the air
Definitely felt this as well, but the atmosphere colours don't match, so it's probably not the same place. It's windy and smokey though, wherever this is.
@@paragonseven I agree, depends though on how faithful the final product is to the concept art things could change. Also it could give us an idea on what the state of the galaxy/ies are climate wise. We've been shown at least two compromised atmospheres, and I feel they could be connected to the vaults and the planets' viability on andromeda + Haestrom's star

The more I watch this teaser the more I start to feel that this N7 is not a human. Looks More AI to me the video looks female but the poster looks male to me and the helmet looks to small to fit a head in it. I have see people overlay shepherds head onto the helmet still looks to small. and the big one is the bottom of the poster looks like the out line of EDI’s hair so I’m leaning more toward AI non-playable character all I know is I feel like that meme what’s in the box 😂

Funny fact, if looking in to the early concept art for mass effect 1, there is a one drawing in which Saren holds Shepard above the ground. Shepard wears clothing with a very high jacket collar that loks very similar to this N7 cloth. P.S. sorry if jacket collar is not correct word for it, as English is not my native language.
Interesting, I think I remember that illustration! Would be a pretty cool nod to the original concept art if the new N7 is somehow connected to Shepard / Shepard themself. 👀
@@paragonseven To be honest, Bioware have always tried to listen and read into fan and player thoughts and theories. Sometimes it even seems that they are awaiting for our reaction, if we remember something or hold strong feelings towards something. Like in new dragon age 4 trailer we saw a gryphon baby, in the book dragon age the last flight, the main heroine of the story founded the last survived gryphon eggs and story ended with given to readers hope that we may see gryphons in the last game of series. Possibly some other clues on who is this mystery N7 can be found in books or concept art. For what seems to me, the figure truly resembles the sort of female silhouette, but maybe it’s just wishful thought. Anyway the games that have received serials as Halo, the last of us, fallout, Netflix with anime for dragon age have overwritten the main idea and most bases of original projects to create a different twists. Who knows maybe Shepard would exist in two versions, as you suggested both female and male Shepard.

Imagine buying the epic N7 coat and BioWare serves us the reverse uno card of a coat cake. A small nod to the controversial cupcakes fiasco from 2012 lol 🙃

Maybe I'm grasping at straws, maybe I really want Shepard to return... but the way the new character turns to the 'camera' reminds me of how Shepard turns to the camera when the legendary game loads and then gives a little laugh like she's saying "Yep, its me" and walks on. Probably just letting myself get too worked up. Keep up the great content!
I mean, I do think Shepard is coming back, but that this isn't them. Upcoming vids will cover exactly why I think that! :)
I bet they build a mega mass relay that can travel between galaxies. Thus connecting the two galaxies.
I feel we could have to potential to go to both galaxies in game.
This would have great potential for the mass effect future. They may just summarize what happened to Ryder the the story there and just move a bit past it for a new plot.
Stretch theory: is the snowy mountain in the first trailer symbolism for cryostasis? Could any of the old crew of frozen themselves to meet a fully healed Shepard in the future? Was Shepard's body frozen for hundreds of years in order to learn a way to bring him back?
Here for stretch theories, but I don't think this one makes sense, to me anyway. I can't see a whole bunch of characters cryosleeping just for the possibility of bringing Shep back.
My ongoing theory is that the teaser was showing exactly what it was meant to. Liara is finding a way to bring Shep back from Alchera, albeit from an AU. Obviously it's a wilder theory than the cryosleep one, so it could honestly mean anything. :)

I think the character walking in this teaser is Liara as an N7 agent based on the type of footwear and body language.
The previous trailer may have been representative of her picking up after Shepard.
I don't think the helmet would fit an asari's head though (forgot to mention this in the vid). And N7's are a human military designation...so why would Liara be one?

Liara did wear human armor all through mass 1.
I can't help but feel like we're letting the team down by missing some clues they've put out that we haven't discovered. I wonder if we need to do some deeper codebreaker type stuff. Like Cicaca 3301 puzzles. Code embedded in the scrambled blocks at the end of the trailer subclips? Embedded metadata clues? Steganography? Linguistic clues hiding in plain sight? e.g. When they posted the teaser poster, they said "from our crew to yours" does that mean the people in the poster are the crew of the new "Normandy"?
I'm planning on doing a much deeper dive into every hint we've been given since 2020 in the New Year. I have no idea where to start, but if you have any ideas, feel free to post them here!
Not sure about the teaser poster thing you mentioned since I didn't see that on my timeline, but I'm sure there's a ton of stuff we're missing still.
Just saw that Mac Walters is starting a AAA studio, he was the lead writer for ME2 & ME3.
I got a Citadel vibe from the background environment.
The pistol is a Predator, same shape and sound from the prior games.
Ahh I didn't check the sound on the gun, good catch! Is it the same shape though? Thought the Predator was a bit more bulky, no?
Awesome news about the new studio with Walters at the lead. Gonna be anxiously anticipating those games.

Im hoping unreal engine 5 is the game engine used. I feel frostbite engine holds biowRe back as they end up allocating more recourses to fixing frostbite problems.
Also hoping with good level design that has the illusion of big worlds not empty open world .

It's FEMSHEP, sorry it was my heart screaming. However the three songs are suspect, surely there'll be a connection that we can't see yet. iI's as if we have the answer at our fingertips but can't figure out how to understand it yet. To me she's also nodding, as if someone had called her. I also think that this is a new character that we won't be playing. Basically, I don't understand anything 🤣

It's Miranda in an abandoned Cerberus facility. She has many upgrades by Cerberus, so she may have a long life span. She has recovered Genetic DNA of Shepard for cloning/ resurrection.

It is Liara's kid. Probably not our pc but a companion. Liara's entire I can only give you this plus infinity at the final farewell to our companions really makes me think she had Shepard's kid. She even does this when your a friend. That yellow atmosphere looks like the same from concept art.
If I am remembering correctly, the boots on the poster have a full blue bar on the back foot and a partial red filled bar on the front. Probably saying it is the paragon renegade system is back.
Bioware does this with DA all the time. Showing characters that freak everyone out then they end up being companions and the pc gets stuck being ugly with boring hair.
Who knows but I hope not there’s rumors going around that it’s liara and Shepards kid and god I hope not that would be stupid.
I hope they have not tied in MEA into this new game. Combat in MEA was fantastic, writing was terrible, let it go.
I thought they confirmed they are trying Andromeda to the original trilogy somehow.

I think its Tuchanka. The Helmet is a new N7 Andromeda design where the glass visor goes all the way to the back of the head. I don't see that helmet being used on Asari. It could be the next Kai Lang only female this time. I think Liara finds Shepards body, puts it in a stasis pod and travels to Andromeda in the Quarian Ark. So her and Shepard can live in peace "getting lost" as stated in their romance scene. The Angaran on the poster has the same lines on the legs of the outfit as they had in Andromeda.
