A more entertaining brand of football, two cup finals, a trophy and a 3rd place finish. Yes, the away form has been poor, but he has only lost one home game and that was his first game. They beat Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and City at home last season. He can only achieve so much in 12 months. @@Daryl_sniper24 Sancho is a bigger flop, because there was genuine hype for him. We just overpaid for Antony by almost 100% on his normal price due to our incompetent owners, who appointed incompetent CEO and board members, who appointed the incompetent staff members responsible for decision making based on both the footballing and financial side. I actually think Sancho is one of the few players that we didn't overpay on, as Dortmund at first wanted above 100 million to sell him, so we waited 1 year and got him for a lot less. But the truth is we gave him a wage that was insane for his age and he turned out to be a soft player, with no winning mentality.

Ten Hag should have took him to one side and told him one on one your not training well enough, pull your finger out. Then to the press he could have just said, me and Jadon talked about why he wasn't in the squad today. What we talked about is between us, if he trains well he'll be in contention to start next week.

I'm old school, this should have been a private discussion between the player and manager behind closed doors. Making it public is disrespectful by both the manager and player, it is like two kids having an argument in the school yard. Ten Hag should have made no comment and advised he has spoken with the player and left it at that. To vaguely detail Sanchos effort at training is simply opening up a can of worms, and now we have everyone talking about it. It's not good for those involved and definitely not good for the team or club. I would have thought Man Utd would have been passed all this by now but seems there are still internal issues. This would explain the underwhelming performances thus far.

Some will say Ten Hag shouldn't publicly criticise Sancho, but he was only answering a question and maybe he was looking to get a reaction out of Sancho. We of course don't know what goes on behind the scenes and what is really going on with Sancho is his life and career, but he was ill informed to respond like that. It's a privilege to play for a club the size of Man Utd and the club pay him a massive wage and even tried to help him by giving him time off last season. He hasn't been good enough in a Man Utd shirt and although the club are somewhat culpable for that as well, Sancho himself hasn't been good enough individually. I haven't seen anything to suggest he's got what it takes to be a top quality player at the highest level.

Wasn't even that bad what ETH said. Sancho seems a bit of a crybaby. Imagine if he had to work a real job he would have no chance.
