Very nice thorough review. One point worth making is that some people have taken to removing the rubber and safety, which allows for much better shooting in awkward places. However I agree with you that in skirting, you can do quite a bit of damage on curved areas.
@@TheDiligentDIYer1759 I see a TTB961NAL on screwfix now for cheaper. Is this one going out of production or something? I can't find any info on the release date to see if that 961 is a newer version
Would not recommend this model. Get the TTB516NAL if you are after a nailgun. this has a wide hammer for the staples so I found when nailing something it would leave a 3-4mm mark. Not ideal. the 516 hammer should only be as wide as the nail head
great review, clearly explained this is a budget nail gun mostly suited to DIY jobs!
Thanks for watching!
I have one of these and agreed with what you say. I would love a fancier NG but bought this purely due to budget constraints. Thanks for the review

Yes good point. Thanks for watching!
thanks, really useful video.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you helped a lot 👌
Glad it helped!
Bought a used Clarke Bandit compressor with pinner/stapler,and very pleased with it.
Glad to hear it, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review. It seems ita a bit bobbins 😃really as the nails are either proud or damge the surface
Depends on your budget really. Thanks for watching!
Will this be good for timber clading where you need to get to this groves?
Not sure if you’d get the head of the gun into the grove very easily
Could this be used to pin 15mm wooden panels onto a plasterboard wall? It’s been glued but just for extra grip
Yes combined with the glue it should be sufficient. Thanks for watching!
I need a nailer for skirting board to a wall , what could u recommend?
Depends on the thickness of the board and what you’re going into. The dewalt second fix is most versatile though.
I avoid everything that is corded. The only corded tool I do recommend is metabo chaser.

Does any body know if you can use regular staples in them the ones you get in them cheap hand staplers
Thanks
I think regular staples would jam it as they are too thin, you need the gauge designed for the gun. Thanks for watching!
no , they are a different shape
You recommend dewalt nail gun, which model?
Or what would you recommend for around £100
Dewalt second fix, only one version they do. For £100 best going for the titan I’d say
Can i put 32mm in as show you can but say on box a 25mm
Yeah i don’t know why the box says differently. Thanks for watching!
Will it go into wood into concrete wall?
Probably not, it might hold the wood on there long enough for adhesive to go off though. Thanks for watching!
Will it put in 50 mm nails in to block
Not a chance unfortunately, thanks for watching!
10 months on and its now £55.99
That’s a huge increase! Not sure it’s worth that amount. Thanks for watching!
Indeed. I went straight over after seeing your video thinking ill get one at that price lol@@TheDiligentDIYer1759
