The coolest part of the interview to me was when Fred talked about how after Demeco told him he needed to be more vocal and just assert himself as the leader of the pack, he was able to instantly flip that switch and become that. What I’m a little unclear about is whether or not he was that in high school and college or if it’s something that just kind of laid underneath the surface until Demeco brought it out.
Fred was a undersized DE OLB in highschool a 4 star recruit. Nobody in San Diego thought he would be the best linebacker in football. He played DB in college so i think both positions helped him because he is a heat sinking missle.
Yeah and for some reason people forget hes a rookie. Of course he wasnt gonna make every throw or miss open guys. That comes with experience. To me he balled out for being drafted where he was and the little first team reps he got.
I was transferring from the East coast Virginia beach, to Lemoore California Back when I was about 24yo, and I was at a random Truck stop at the Nevada/California border and a Truck driver comes up to me who I went to 7th grade with and he remembered me. He was a Twin and we reminisced for about 20 minutes before we split ways never to be seen again. Crazy how recognizable I am.
I love that Taylor’s 2nd priority on his list of teams is that number. Some guys don’t care what number they get and that shit has always baffled me. I loved rocking my number and it was always cool to see who had that number on the opposing team to compare yourself
