One of my more favorite weapons against the original mobs (tadpoles, betas, alphas, arineas, gamma, and flying) is the Super Acid Gun. I don't have it fully upgraded, but its spray is like a slow shotgun spread that will arc like a grenade and deal some decent damage. Enough to knock them out of the air if it doesn't kill them with the other acid blobs flying at them. Basically it's an effective longer mid range fire hose. . . I just know it's got enough range that if shot straight up it'll fly up and fall down to about a 7 story roof before it hits it's max range and disappears. Normally wouldn't be my first choice, but it's surprisingly effective. I'd suggest trying it just to see if it fits the bill for you.
@@KevinEDF It kinda feels broken, but then I watch a flock of tadpoles cyclone-pirouetting through the air after getting hit with this and I can only laugh.
Beat this on Inferno with Wing Diver today. Mainly using phalanx as it has _some_ range versus rapier. The acid spitting is a real worry - they can tear through thousands of hit points before I can tell what direction the enemy is or where I need to dodge to. The other hard bit with the mission is that incoming waves of tadpoles seem to often (always?) be aggro'd and will attack you immediately after or during their initial flying formation
On your wingdiver segment you missed the key part of the most important strategy: Stay in the air and shoot a low-energy homing weapon, like a mirage, but try to hit each enemy only once. The goal isn't to kill tadpoles with the mirage, but to stun them. A hit with a single projectile will cause a tadpole to fall down to the ground, bounce around a bit, and maybe even get caught between buildings, possibly out of the fight for 1-2 minutes. If you can do this to half or 3/4s of the tadpoles, kill the others with a lance or rapier is very easy and safe.
Yes, not to kill them, I should of made it more clear. The mirage doesn't knock them down though unfortunately, just the ghost chaser or the special 5 shot mirage(unless you were referring to this mirage)
EDF doesn't leave a man behind......unless he gets snatched up by a tadpole and taken to the far corner of the map! Then we can't be bothered! Haha! I don't think I have a favorite method of killing them. I hate tadpoles with a passion.
They all have 2 outfits, so you can change it after you beat the game once. He only had the training outfit for certain beginning levels until he graduates
Will you do those Dmn MF'ng silver spiders? EDIT~ That MIssle Launcher that was level 110 can you get that from the Underground tunnel DLC map? it's the only map to date I can inferno atm.

I love this gun now that they increased the range, when maxed out it is about 800 meters!

Nice job! Yeah the waves always see you :(

Thanks a lot for these videos! Perhaps it's too late to ask but do you know which mission gives MEX5 Emerald upgrades?
You are awesome Kevin
I could not unlock those missiles for Fencer and Ranger. Don't know why.

Or if they spontaneously die at the very last second of the mission clear screen for some strange reason...how can I revive them in time?? 😢😁
i miss the 2025 ranger look, now he looks like a english bobby, you get him to look like that in this game?

This, I am not 100% sure on, mission 7 drops 112 but I don't know about 6 😟
You may have to do the erginus level online
This was very helpful 👍
Awesome I'm glad to hear it 😊
