I think 'And the winner is' has way more to do with how you intend to use the aircraft in which case, the winner may be either aircraft as both are fantastic. Are you going to fly over water at night or are you flying with your significant other and child at high altitude and you don't want to have to deal with cannulas etc - along with a dozen other considerations that help determine the best aircraft for your mission. One part of your analysis that probably is worth more consideration is the fact that the Diamond burns Jet A which is much more environmentally friendly and globally available. I hope that a synthetic alternative to leaded avgas arrives soon and I'm sure it will but it's yet another factor in determining a subjective 'winner'.
can someone tell me how the DA62 is much heavier on basic empty weight than the M350? I thought it has composite materials. It also has a much smaller cabin. Same goes for the DA50 RG which is lighter but STILL heavier than the Piper-
The Diamond has much newer engines and is far more fuel efficient. Also has a Carbon Fibre body. It’s a much newer tech. It is also a twin engine aircraft thus a much better proposition.
And so much safer. FADEC engines. Cabin that can withstand 25g. Two wing spars so you’ll never have a breach of fuel after a crash. Clear winner is DA62
Nunca habia leído una comparativa tan poco objetiva como esta. El DA62 es infinitamente mejor que el Piper M350, por consumo, tecnologia y seguridad, por eso se vende mucho mas. Saludos
If you're going to pronounce a winner at least clarify the mission or objectives that you are basing your opinion on. This is the second video from this channel I've disliked solely for the arbitrary winner title.
I think the comparison is biased and unfair, there is no mention of security technology. The entire cabin has the same technology as F1, it can fly with 1 engine, the landing gear has larger low-pressure wheels, which allows it to land on the grass. The fuel is Jet 1, it uses half as much fuel as any other twin's engine. The intelligence of avionics saves important steps that are required in a Beechcraft or Piper. And many other advantages in its benefits.
The M350 with a diesel engine would be soooo much better. Diamond is leading that trend, hopefully the other manufacturers can learn from their success.

Piper is pressurized, not Diamond. Malibu4Ever 😁
I do love the M350
No comparison. The Baron would have made more sense.

thanks for watching

m350 all day

Isn’t there many issues with the M350 engine?
I’d rather have the Diamond any day.
Thanks for watching

I go off of PERFORMANCE such as: Maximum Cruise Speed fuel burn and such not of a mission. have a good one
@@Airplane_Stuff That makes no sense in the real world for real pilots. Mission is the driving force behind airplane acquisition.
@@derickellisster Iam not saying what airplane you should buy just going of performance

That would be cool
Another pointless comparison between to quite different aircraft.
Sorry you did not like it.
@@Airplane_Stuff agree
@@anibaldamiao agreed with him or me? lol
diamond wins :))
