Ok. Awesome for the first 3/4 then it zoomed off into nonsense that killed the entire thing. Here's what I figured was going to happen and it honestly should have happened to yanno. Keep the actual plot etc going to the end. They escape the treehouse and get to the abandoned farmhouse. The kid runs outside and stops in disbelief as the treehouse that they'd spent hours fleeing from is now there next to the farmhouse. The two teens slowly realize that the malevolent creatures/witches are just toying with their prey and only made them think they escaped but they're stuck in the "dark" world forest forever. But no. Y'all had to totally forget all about the malevolent beings, turn them into some uncanny valley looking Matrix dudes, had one running like the cop in terminator 2 then suddenly they're the school bullies then suddenly they're mysteriously vanishing when shot dead. Witaf.
