You don't overdo anything. You aren't using the cookie cutter influencer techniques with how you apply all the products and I love that. Chanel’s new range of nude shades in their Rouge Allure lipstick line was one of their best releases. I’ve never bought so many new lipsticks in one visit, but so many of the colors were too good to leave, esp for fall/winter and they wear beautifully. Fave shades were Subtile, caractère, mise à nu, and Demi-mot.
And they go on like butter. 😍

That mascara is the best in my opinion. The wand is key to the lashes to separate and lengthening! Love it 🥰
I had. never noticed before ..but now that you're mentioning it, I myself also have long yet sparse eyelashes and I also find that when I use the rubbery mascara wands ones , the spiky ones , my eyes lashes look so much better and fuller and I reach for them more often and I prefer them as well.

CdP knocked it out of the park with their illuminizer reformulation. The originals were outstanding, but their new version is superlative in every way and is in keeping with the modern interpretation of refined and elegant looking makeup. I have two: Radiant Superstar (LE Holiday 2022) which a friend brought me from Japan. It is warmer-while still being winter soft-than the more common one that is readily available in the US. I also have Daybreak Shimmer which is an ideal winter shade for me. When spring comes, I plan on getting one of the warmer shades.

Hi Michele -that WA pressed powder is so beautiful. I have it in pink bubble and the white ..it’s so brightening and perfecting without feeling like anything on my skin, which I love ..
I use it in the center of my face and under my eyes and it never lets me down❤
Finally, someone else who appreciates the spiky rubber mascara brushes lol! They are so much better for sparse lashes; I don’t see why they get so much hate.

My favorite products of this year, more, but when mentioning a few: Chanel Sublimage Foundation and Concealer, also the Hourglass eyeliners, Chantecaille Skin Tint, i loved this summer, now a bit warm, Chantecaille: we would love to see more shades! And discovering Suqqu eyeshadows, most beautiful quads, the 116 and 117 from this year!!!

Thanks so much for recommending the Merit lipsticks!! I personally love this type of lipsticks better too and I have been on the hunting forever for something like this!! It is so much more suitable for everyday looks!!! But it seems to me all the beauty community only talk about pigmented lip products. I am so glad to know that there is actually someone out there who is recommending something different!!!

Michele, if you are looking for a lash serum, I highly recommend you try the GrandeLash one. It’s the only one out of like ten that I’ve tried that actually made my lashes grow. And it didn’t irritate my eyes (unless I got it like directly in my eye which is the case with anything, haha.) Anyway I hope you try it and like it!

I couldn't find the shade I wanted for the By Terry CC Serum, and I finally found it in Bloomingdales and placed an order. You should try the Merit Lipstick in Aperitif. Such a gorgeous red/orange shade.

I have the Merit lip sticks and intended on buying slip. I tried them on in store. I am a shade darker than, with an olive undertone. L’Avenue ended up looking best on me. I went with the Lip oil in Taupe.

Hi Michele, I read the description of the Chanel mascara and thought you might find this interesting - ' CHANEL infuses a mascara with an imperceptible hint of red for added depth'. So it seems there was intention behind the red wand.

Loved the Tom Ford Creme formula. I have been debating getting additional quads.
I got the foundation because of you and I LOVE it too !!! I have combo skin and am 55 and am medium neutral .. so it works really well for combo skin too .. I also use crème powder too ..

Vega look amazing on you. I also have it and love it. Everything you said about it is true! I do like the color story in the Isamaya palette but mine has hardpanned on me and I have hardly used it. So frustrating. I still need to grab some RMS blushes too, they are so pretty.

One of my favorite videos of the year! I have ole of the Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow palettes and I wanted to order Vega - so bummed - it's out of stock I hope they restock it. I'm going to order one of the Cle de Peau face enhancers. My favorite Merit lipstick is Baby - neutral with a hint of pink - absolutely perfect.

I just got the sol flow oil from colorpop. It is a lovely shade. One only needs a tiny bit because it goes far.
I actually think the only makeup item I bought that is also from this year, is a Chanel quad from the fall release (the purple hue). All of my other purchases were items released previously. Edit: the lipstick reminds me of the coverage of the Gucci satin finished. Very pretty.
