  • Greg Eavay has been making surfboard for 40 years. He is retired and yet he keeps making boards. I wanted to learn, why?

most certainly one of the best people ive ever had the pleasure to meet. got greg to shape x3 boards for me over the years..a twin fin fish, a quad and an egg..each with a custom resin tint and have their own unique qualities that make them priceless treasures I will never part with. a true craftsman and artist. every time I get in the water or walk back up the beach I get multiple compliments on his boards. he is the best of the best and truly one in a million.
thanks for the feature on him. was good to see he is still at it...
    peace and love greg...

    Great job, Mason!
Greg has been shaping my boards for years. What I love most about his boards are the custom touches he adds to every board.
I enjoy sitting and talking with Greg just as much as riding one of his creations.

I don't surf but I paddle board (on the Intercoastal not the ocean). I didn't start that until I was about 55. I wish I had lived here in my younger life and learned to surf. It is fascinating to watch.
We bought David Endress's parents house about 10 years ago. I believe that he made surfboards in our garage. There was stuff on the ceiling that seemed like it was resin or something like that.
