My son and family going on Mediterranean Cruise on Arvia this September. Enjoyed your blog so enthusiastic and honest sounding. Am so excited now for them. They have a 1 and 3 year old. All sounds promising and exciting. Can't wait to hear all about it.
Oh wow! I’m sure they’ll have a great time. You’ll have to let me know how they get on! Thank you for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. Sam x
Oh hi new subscriber! I’ve followed you for a long time now so thanks so much for watching my video! Arvia is fab, you should definitely try it out! 👍🏻
Were going on Arvia in September had it booked for over a year. Only been on Brittania to date and love the ship. We have two foster children with short life expectancy and they couldn't do enough for us on our fjords trip in May. Great Vlog with some helpful info and hope little one and you do not go through that again
Oh you’re going to have the most fantastic time! Make sure you tell P&O about your experience on Britannia and that you and the children are so excited for your Arvia Adventure! Thanks so much for reaching out 🙏🏻
wow loved this video, I have seen hundreds of P&O videos on here and very few are delivered as well as yours, I can see why even though you only have 2k subs why P&O are happy to partner with you. I have Subed which is very unusual for me. Well done.
Thank you! So glad you found it useful. I’m hoping we can get back on board soon, we loved it and I’m sure you’ll have a great time! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
We’re going on Arvia next month with our kids..nervously excited as we’ve never been on a cruise. Thanks so much for a great video, really really useful!
Sorry that you had such a stressful ending, but very reassuring to know the medical staff were so good. And very pleased to hear your son is okay now 🙏
Really informative vlog thank you for all the useful info & tips - you mention that the refresh package is only free for kids if you get the deluxe package are you sure that's correct as my wife and I were planning on getting the classic for our cruise next year on Arvia and we thought it included refresh for our son for free - may have to consider going for deluxe if that's true p.s. great tip about checking in 21 days before I didn't know that - its in my calendar now 😁
I did check this out funnily enough and I made a note in the description below to confirm Classic ALSO gets kids in your cabin the refresh package! Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to comment, I’m so glad you found it useful! X
Classic is excellent, if you’re not bothered about top shelf spirits then classic is great. We went with Deluxe because I wanted Grey Goose Vodka, Golden Tide Rum and Salcombe Gin!
Stop tempting me 😂 seriously.though we are fine with classic enough cocktails to keep the wife happy and decent coffee too - thanks again for responding and I'm glad it all worked out well for your son eventually
Ah thank you so much. Yes thankfully he is absolutely fine now, we owe that all to Arvia’s amazing medical team 🙏🏻 let me know how you get on with the Classic Package! We’re on Azura next August (2024), I can’t wait to get back on the drinks package 🤣
I’m not sure I have considered the fact there weren’t any trays! It would make life so much easier, especially when you’re trying to carry your own food and a child’s.
Was on Arvia in may with 2 Yr old, lovely ship but too big for us and apart from kids club there wasn't much for little ones. Seemed short of staff and seating was a problem. Booked a 5 week carribean on ventura Feb, back to the smaller ships to us .
We’re going on Azura next August (2024) so really looking forward to trying that! We didn’t have anything to compare Arvia too. We had a great time but some small tweaks would have made it even better! Thanks so much for watching x
Fantastic video, well done and thank you. So much information. I have 2 questions for you. 1. For classic drinks package, is the 15 daily drink limit only for acholhol drinks then you can have unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, or, 15 drinks maximum per day ? 2. Do you have a Brodies and and keel n cow drinks menu with the new classic and delux package key on it? Thank you
Thanks so much for watching and really glad it was informative, it took such a long time to edit this but i wanted it to be as valuable as possible 🥰 1) the 15 drinks per day rule: we never saw it enforced and we did test it 😂 we also never had the 1 drink per 15 minutes rule enforced either. I think those rules are there so if someone is being a nuisance they can use them. But if you’re behaving yourself it’s not going to effect you. 2) let me see if I have a photo of those menu’s, I think I probably do. If you have followed us on Facebook then I’ll post it on there. Thanks so much again for watching! Sam x
Thank you for such a quick and detailed reply. Coffee, bottled water and soft drinks in addition to 15 alcohol drinks.... perfect for me. Yep I have found your Facebook, I will keep an eye there. Thanks again.
I can’t find a clear answer anywhere and wondered if you could help - were your boys able to swim in the pools? We have a 3 year old and he isn’t in swim nappies but I noted that online it said if they’re in swim nappies or basically a toddler, they’ve have to just use the splash
As far as I’m aware, they can swim in the pools at any age, but must be toilet trained for the whirlpools as the signs say no swim nappies in the whirpools. We did take Jack in the whirlpool twice, both times because we had t read the sign and didn’t know the rules ha! No one said anything to us though. We didn’t end up trying to splash zone, we were going to do it on the final few days but obviously ended up off the ship early 🙈
I think he was taking the mick basically saying you’re pronouncing deluxe wrong. You’re saying it ‘dulux’ like the paint, rather than Dee-lucks how it’s actually pronounced xx
Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed it then please like the video and comment below to help our channel grow ❤ thank you again, Sam x

Thank you, very informative and non negative. Glad little man was ok in the end.
Oh thank you, us too. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching! Sam x
Great information! I was surprised the crew could not address the kids running around. Thanks for sharing.
Same! It was probably the only real disappointment we had about the cruise. Thank you so much for watching!
Hello, from your newest subscriber! Arvia sounds like a great experience - I'm hoping to get on there next year at some point.

A very thoughtful and moving vlog. Definitely makes you want to go especially knowing how well your looked after whatever age you are.
Exactly that! It’s a safe holiday for anyone concerned with health etc 👍🏻
Really informative Sam well done, it was worth the time 😊
Thank you guys!
I’ve never sailed on P&O before, only royal caribbean so far. This is super interesting! You are making me want to go cruising again haha! 😊
Haha, it’s so addicting isn’t it 😂 thanks so much for watching!

Very similar to us then with it being our 1st cruise too! Take your time finding your bearings and you’ll have a fantastic time!

I wondered why the Horizon buffet didn’t have trays. I found it really irritating having to go back and forth.
I’m not sure I have considered the fact there weren’t any trays! It would make life so much easier, especially when you’re trying to carry your own food and a child’s.

@football.2111 oh I see!!! Have a fabulous trip! Please let me know your thoughts afterwards. Happy Easter to you too 😍
@@EverAfterAdventures ok !
What’s a dulux drinks package ?
I think it’s pronounced duelux
It’s called the Deluxe Drinks Package, it’s the top drinks package that P&O Cruises offer 😊
It’s called the Deluxe Drinks Package 👍🏻
