I was 6 found an old female schwinn 10 speed. Although I was too small to sit on seat and reach the pedals. I thought myself to stand on the pedals, leaning the bike to one side I could pedal, reaching up, holding the handle to steer, and balance. The neighborhood kids were in awe of me balancing myself on the pedals and riding that schwnn all summer.

I hear in your endearing story ALSO the spirit of being the outlaw…some say a son defying the father is normative- nah, not in this dynamic way: hm, on second thoughts, it’s the spirit of the warrior.

Each and every one of us is born a warrior, defying the father is so natural, it is unnatural not to, that sets the precedence for the balance in society.
It’s the next stage that defies me, taking the defying warrior to the level of an outlaw, for all the right reasons, and a very small platform only a few of humanity are capable of reaching.
I personally have been fighting the good fight all my life, and I have now reached the best position I could ever have hoped to achieve, total respect for the 1%

My first bike without training wheels was a BMX style. I wrecked that thing so many times trying to do tricks that my folks finally got rid of it and got me a mountain bike because they thought it would be safe... It wasn't, but it was faster!
