Wish it had the standard Explorer headstock, its whats holding me back.. Update nov'22: I bought one frpm PMT and love it! The bird headstock is stronger and has better tuning stability really happy
Love the headstock choice. I had an Explorer that struggled to tune to pitch and stay in tune. That straight pull will definitely help with those things!
I've heard this story before, but Lzzy mentioning replacing Coheed during Dio's last run with Heaven and Hell also makes me wish there was an alternative world where Coheed and Halestorm had a tour together. Those are two of my absolute favorite modern day bands and to see Claudio and Lzzy together would be a dream come true.
The greatest part of this video is how Lzzy tells the story of buying her white Explorer off Craigslist from some down on his luck guy who was excited it would be going on tour with her and then mentions she sent him pictures of it up on stage for quite a while after. The more I see and hear about this woman the more I realize she is really an incredible woman in addition to being insanely talented.
Lizzy is one of the coolest women in Rock. Just a great talented and have to see her singing hitting Halford like notes at times? She rocks!I do't normally like red but thats a friggin cool guitar and it sounds amazing!
I'm sorry but change is good.Break the mold make the difference move forward and deal with it!! Cause'.. those sounds this guitar creates is emotional metal with a pinch of Classic Class!! It Bites Hard!
I like the white lzzy hale explorer, but the weird gold fretmarkers, color, and weird ass headstock makes this an instant no from me and most people as well. Maybe it should be an epiphone.
This is a guitar review. The point is for you to hear the guitar. If you bury it in a mix, that gets lost and the review becomes less suitable for guitarists who want to determine if it's for them.

Just a guitar playing is never lame, by definition. Love my bass, but still - a guitar solo is a guitar solo not a duet and has no requirement for accompaniment.

agreed, I have a soft spot for explorers. This ticks alot of the boxes for me. One box it doesn't tick tho is the price, but that's Gibson for you

This guitar has inspired me to learn guitar. As soon as I can save up. I love everything about it! It’s striking and beautiful!

This was my most recent impulse buy. Along side a Epi 61 Les Paul SG so this one doesnt get damaged. 😜

When they released the bamf for this guitar I thought the design is going to be more adventurous, not just a different headstock on an explorer.
Gibson stopped being adventurous in the 60s.
What? No no no, you don't understand. They put a Firebird headstock on an Explorer. An Explorer! (lol)
They're fairly adventurous in finding new reasons to sue companies for making better guitars than they ever could
The FB stock is a deal breaker for me. Much rather the hockey stick headstock.
