    Reza was also injured in 2004! I remember watching him Live and we were all telling Don’t Do It! The guy was a Tank!

      Hossein Rezazadeh was never danned course of Doping like Talachadze was. He was ever clean. A real great sportsman.

    There is no way you can compare both. The way athletes train now, recover now and get nutrition now is far superior than what was in the time of Reza

      Uhh, wrong. Anatoly Pisarenko was way before both of them and was comparable in strength relative to his weight. Reza wasn’t that long ago. The biggest difference is Lasha’s size.

    Reza was as talented as lasha, he just never pushed his absolute limit. Lasha has been relentless his whole career, and is quite comfortably the GOAT.

    The fact that Lasha can move that well at his size is what truly sets him apart. The strength of the two athletes is probably pretty similar pound for pound...its that ability to move. So impressive.

      lasha is def better suited for the snatch (more explosiveness , probably his height helps)
      but i think reza was stronger in the squat, he said that he could clean more than 272kg, but by 2004 he was already injured

    From my Opinion ,Rezazadeh Clean was Smoother than Lasha .But on the Jerk ,I think Lasha was Better cause Lasha basicly had Such Strong Arms for Snatch AllTimeRecord 🏋‍♂ .But Regardless ,Both Lifter was Awesome 👍

      Lasha is a lot taller than Rezazadeh he is nearly 6’7 hossein is what around 6’2? 6’3 that’s a lot more space the barbell has to clear to get to the clean position for lasha

      @@johnappleseed9290 you call 12 cm a lot more space rezazadeh much more stronger than lasha in terms of raw power but the fact is rezazadeh never been pushed to show his maximum effort all of his lifts looks so easy like an empty barbell I'm sure he was able to lift much more weight but we have to appreciate lasha techniques which is better than rezazadeh

      Ok you speak of raw power Lasha has done 350kg for 5 reps in squat and it moved like an empty bar go to his instagram and check it out. Also lasha has rowed 250kg for 8 ROWED. Find me a footage of rezazadeh doing that. I’m sorry but lasha is just stronger but technique wise and raw power wise: he’s a different monster from the rest

    Rezazadeh never needs to improve and reach his limit, if Rezazadeh was after Talakhadzeh, then he had motivation to reach even 270 kg . Just watch how easeier Rezazadeh lifted 263 kg

    Before Lasha, I thought it would take 20 or 30 years before Hossein's record will be break. But Lasha looks even stronger ! Both are legendary, but Lasha looks inhuman ! I am sure Lasha will do 270 kg soon !

    Asen Zlatev (Bulgaria) with only 82.5kg body weight managed 225kg C&J in 1986. He was less than half of Lasha's body weight. Similar did Khrapaty 90kg/235kg. Too bad those old records don't count anymore.

    Libra por libra lasha y reza no podrian ni acercarse a naim suleymanoglu...el rey de todos los tiempos en halterofilia..naim con 60k. Levantó 180 kilos 3 veces su propio peso....lasha pesa 140 kilos si levantara 3 veces su peso corporal podria disputarle a naim..

    i think even at Lasha 265 in Tokio, Rezazadeh's clean is the best ever, he make it so easy but the jerk is most difficult, in the second move you must have strong arms and shoulders

    No se comparan estas dos leyendas, Hossein el único bicampeón de los 2000's declo cual dominó a Sydney 2000 y Athenas 2004. En cambio Lasha Talakhadze coko buen georgiano, tricampeón olímpico y sobretodo imponiendo records en unos juegos olímpicos (Río 2016, Tokyo 2020 y París 2024) nada que discutir y dejar de comparar, una leyenda frente a otra leyenda

    For me the WR belongs still to hossein because he lift the barbell easier and for about 3 seconds over him and lasha just for about 1.5 seconds and hardly supporting the weight...

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Lasha lifted 265 kg at tokyo 2020 olympics and that was looking very easy and WR belongs to him. this 263 looks easy as well

      yeah lasha has a bit of a disadvantage here in terms of stabilzing the weight over head
      but he has an advantage in the snatch
      but lets not forget that reza was already injured in 2004
