Definitely Paul , scooters aren’t the most comfortable rides , especially the older models .. but it was there first experience of Brighton , I’m sure they would of thought it worth it 👍

@@scootercoop5234 I’m to young for the 60s mods ,but was into it when 2tone came round in the 70s and was into and still am into northern soul ,since I was 14 . 62 now ,still love the mod look and the music ,ska,soul
@@scootercoop5234 yes mate northern it’s in me blood went to Wigan when I was 14 ,should be 18 but used to get in ,then get the train back to Birmingham and do a all dayer at the Locarno club ,now I like to be in bed for 9 lol ,I might look at coming to Brighton next year for the rally ,all the best mate
Thanks for your feedback sir, I’m never comfortable with the term “comedy mods” .. all I see is that the scene is big enough for everyone, not everybody’s budget is the same …. And if all the “comedy mods” dressed like the “elite mods “ then everyone would look the same …. Which would defeat the whole idea of being mod “I don’t want to be like everyone else “ .. would a “elite mod” be happy if he went out and he looked exactly the same as every other mod in the club ? I don’t think so .. but thanks once again for your feedback 👍
