Hii beginner crochet fellows 🙋🏻♀️. If you're following this tutorial please bear in mind that with the puff stitch, one stitch increases. For example i did 28 chains, but after the puff stitch row i was left with 29 stitches. It does it automatically as every puff stitch takes 2 stitches (also, thats why we're supposed to skip one stitch after every puff stitch to keep the numbers same) but in this pattern, we see we're left with one stitch that should have been covered by the adjacent puff stitch but we choose to put one single crochet in it to even out the edges, making an extra stitch. So if you're a little confused about sudden increase of one stitch in your work, don't worry its supposed to be like this. 😁 To the creator, this was a very easy and beautiful pattern. Keep uploading ❤️ Love to you from Pakistan ❤️
You Rock. Thank you for this very clear explanation here. You make for a very good instructor as well. I will pin your message to the top for others to see. Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
How do we combat this? I’m left with two wonky gloves even with the single crochet border. Super upset because this is my first time using superwash merino and I feel like I just wasted it as it won’t be nearly as soft when I frog this.
I am not very good at reading patterns and I am so pleased with how my first arm warmer has come out. Thank you for being a fabulous teacher..I've never done a puff stitch before either!
I'm a beginner and I love the gloves. You explain them Very well. I've subscribed to your video. Let's have some more patterns For fingerless gloves. Thank you. One of the best tutorials.
This was my first bigger project, I did them for myself, my mum saw them, said they have a beautiful pattern and now I'm making one for her too 😊. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
It is so funny how you wrap the yarn around your left pointer finger... have never seen that before...you crochet beautifully and you make this pattern very easy to follow. Thank you!
Super bien expliqué (on ne se pose pas de questions), on voit bien les gestes et joli résultat car les mitaines sont belles ! Merci beaucoup pour votre vidéo.
I love this pattern! Thank you for sharing. I love that the resulting fabric isn't too thick, so you can still move your hand freely and it won't get too hot.
Hi, thanks for a beautiful pattern, just doing them for a friend. But I do understand those who mentions they have to many stitches . Cause after you do the puff stitch, the first single row, there is one stitch to many. You have the 16 stitches at start, then the 12 puff stitches with each one chain, that makes 24, and then the last one at the end, makes 41.. so I skipped the first of the chains on the first puff stitch, then it is still 40 at the end 😊 will be making a pair for my daughter too, so thanks for nice pattern. Stay safe and healthy. Best wishes from Denmark 🇩🇰☺️
Hi Trine, you are the first person to understand that. I just had to redo the video to explain that because I was getting too many people asking how and why there was an increase. ruclips.net/video/TaaolfkH9zw/видео.html
This was a really good tutorial and very easy to follow. I made a pair in one sitting. Following to directions to the T is very important. I learnt that from this project.
A fantastic video. So patient you are and you explain in such a simple way allowing for me, as a beginner to follow at ease. You are a breath of fresh air, I thank you so much for using your talent so others can benefit, which I certainly have. God bless you.
You are so kind. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. It’s not very easy to create free content and to continue to spend endless time and money to help others learn this craft. This types of comments are not easy to come and so you simply made my day. Thank You 🙏♥️🙏
Thank you, for the insightful details and instructions. I like the great close up shots in the video, it makes the intricate work easier to see and produce. This is a really cool project to make for co-workers.......!
Just came across your channel and I love these fingerless gloves, you are very clear with your instructions. I subscribed to your channel as well. I have crochet for 50 years and love it more and more as the time goes by. Thank You so much for sharing your work.❤❤❤❤
Thanks for your support. I love crocheting and creating patterns. I am glad you like this pattern. Please check out the other projects on the channel. Thank you again
Thank you for your very clear explanation! I’m a true beginner to crochet, and you explain so clear that it is very easy to follow and understan what you’re doing..
These are beautiful! I hope to combine them with an increase for a thumb gusset (if you can insert a gusset on mitts worked sideways). Very attractive pattern too. Sideways preferred as my little niece would like fleece lining.
you truly are an angel, thank you so much for teaching us. i'm making some for a very dear friend and i'm sure she'll love them! thank you again, so much
On the back row of the puff stitches I forgot to skip one at the end, thankfully I noticed after only a few rows. You explain things very clearly, I was just not paying attention. Hopefully my mistake helps prevent someone else's!
Beautiful gloves and u explain it very well. Now can u show us full hand gloves so that I may be able to make one for my husband as weather is very cold here nowadays.
I've done it! Thank you so much it looks so pretty :) i did hit a snag though. After doing 2 sets of puff stitches (12 in each row) the next two sets had 13 in each row and at the very end i had 3 extra stitches when joining the two seams together. I'm not entirely sure why this happened so if anyone has a clue please let me know 😂
Hi lovely, if you go to the top pinned comment on this video, the lovely Sidra Mansoor wrote up an explanation of why that happens. Please check it out and let me know if that helped. Cheers
Hi! Beautiful work! A quick question: how do you go around the thumb hole twice on each side and end up back where you need to finish split stitching the two sides? If I ho down one side, then up the next, it’s one row of split stitch around the thumb hole, then I have to go back down the first side, that’s two rows of split stitch on the first side (one on the second side). From there if I continue to split stitch down the glove I have one side of the thumb hole with two rows of split stitch and one side with only one. If instead of going down to close the glove I go back up the thumb hole, I have two rows around the thumb but I am on the wrong side to continue to close the glove... not sure I am being clear enough but could you enlighten me, please?💝🙏🏻
I just finished 2 pair!! I love this pattern and your tutorial is wonderful!! Great at explaining things!! Thank you, Now I'm looking for a hat to match the gloves! Hope you have a suggestion or pattern!
Hi Lisa, thank you so much for your support and kind words. I am currently working on making a hat and scarf using the same pattern. Please look out for that soon 🥰
