Not only a shot by Ellie, but what a pass by Horry! I was watching the game with somebody else and when Horry launched that pass, we were like no no no, and he caught it and made it and we were jumping up and down!
I'll always remember this game. I was a huge Barkley fan. I was so god damn pissed. Doubling at half court was a terrible decision... Elie was just standing by himself.
please tell me do you all feel like the rockets played the suns better in the 1994 or 1995 playoffs and the rebounding from superstar charles barkley DIDN'T come close to equaling the shotblocking from legend hakeem olajuwon
I can't believe they gave ainge and marley two free throws on those last two shots. Unreal. So close either one of those were damn near continuation. Was Barkley hurt? Didn't look like he had a great game but huge rebounds down the stretch. What a shot by ellie.
That was quite a timely shot from the baseline by Horry under some pressure with the shot clock running down (@5:57)! Little did people know then that he would one day have that clutch name, "Big Shot Bob".
@@brucewayne1662 the previous years he was a key factor in both Championships, I'm still bitter to this day for the Barkley trade. Traded away the present/future (Horry & Cassell) for the past (Barkley).
Funny how the MVP from just two years prior, Barkley, was barely a factor in this entire vid. I mean from the start to around the 4 min mark he has two offensive touches total resulting in a strip/turnover and an air ball. Barkley being worn down as series cont was one reason Rockets came back. However i gotta say, looking at this with a bit of historical perspective, the Rockets simply had the better team. This game basically boiled down to KJ vs. Olajuwon, and which had the bigger heart to will his team to victory.
@@brucewayne1662 yeah they did; To this day I still remember Barkley talking shit to the press about "Who the fuck is Chucky Brown?!?!?" Chucky Brown was the guy that played on the team that BEAT YOU - that's who!!!! 😆
They simply couldn't close. This series should have been over in 5 games if Barkley makes his FTs late and their offense had been able to execute. And their defense never could get the key stop. The defense on Elie's 3 was terrible. Why try to trap in a tie game? Just play straight-up man-to-man defense.
Notice kj drives to the basket no call rockets we’re getting calls every other possession. Suns have been screwed by the refs more than any sports team in history
Both sides can cherry pick, here. There was a call that went against Olajuwon (his 4th personal, I believe) earlier in the game that absolutely was not a foul. And it was a huge call because he had to come out at that point. To insinuate that the Suns lost this game just because of the refs is not fair-minded at all.

Well boys and girls . . . this is about as good as it gets!
Kevin Johnson was crazy good
these last five minute vids are freaking great. keep em comin dude! thanks!

Crazy how the lil things add up down the stretch....If Barkley picks that pass at 10:39, the Suns probably win
5:56 Big shot Bob thx for the memories
this one is on barkley

austin78993 Yep, Barkley had left knee issues
austin78993 it's also known as THE KISS OF DEATH SHOT!
austin78993 Even if they gave them continuation, they both would get 2 FTs. Getting foul shooting a three wasn't three FTs back then
Barkley did have a knee injury if I recall correctly.
@@earlieray Yes it was, as this was the very first season when that was the case too.

in the Houston days they used to call hm Mr. June (I still call him by that name)
@@elnardowebster2842 Yep, and he eventually got traded because he didnt do shit the previous months

Awesome Awesome
Wow great battle in the west
FINAL 5 MINUTES? I THINK ITS FINAL 8:50 MINUTES :-D
Foul on KJ with 45sec was absolute rubbish! Suns up 1, shot clock winding down. HUGE underrated call.

Was he hurt though? They were rubbing something on his leg and the announcers said "Barkley can't jump right now!" Did he pull something?
austin78993 Barkley had left knee issues
He had severe tendinitis on the left knee in Game 6 which affected his lift and jumping ability.
KJ and the refs VS the Rockets
Barkley I believe tore his meniscus in his knee during the middle of the series which limited his production.
I get why MJ and Pip say what they say about Barkley. Two straight yrs up 3-1 being the better team. Blown..
Actually it was one; the previous year the Suns were up 2-0
@@J-S.P True, although it was 2-0 on the road, which is almost as bad as blowing a 3-1 lead.
They talked a lot of shit when they had those leads too.

"Kiss of death” from mr Mario…
I cant believe suns not beat rockets

I don't know what game you're watching, but it sure ain't this one lol
No call Rockets! I cannot sop laughing at this comment!
The refs were trash this game
