That zapper looks like it works great, need me one of those.
It would be kind of hilarious if we could breed or isolate a cordyceps variety that was selective for fungus gnats. Mycopesticides and a lot of irony
I need to get me one of those. Fungus gnats and fruitflies have been bringing contaminants into my growhouse and eating the mucelium. Thankyou. I've also been adviced to use garlic and chili extract but haven't had the time to do it yet
Rolling the cart back and forth made me laugh. Keep up the good work.
Some while ago I learnt about Pinguicula aka butterworts, a carnivorous flowering plant, and that in some laboratory settings, they put them in a leveled gutter surrounding the room as they need wet feet. I've seen them for houseplants and fungus gnats are crazy about them - some plants are completely covered in gnats. They stick to the leaves and getting digested. It's yet to be tried if Pinguicula are useful in a fungi grower's setting. Maybe more a small-scale solution, or as an support in addition? Sorry for my bad English.
ps: Pinguicula have a very subtle odor which seems to attract gnats. It would be interesting to see which the bigger attractor is, fungified soil or Pinguicula. Fruit flies do not seem to be interested.
Sundews would probably be easier to maintain Fr
bacillus subtilis to control green mold also called serenade.
I use apple cider vinegar.
Put it in a glass, cover with some plastic and poke some holes in it against evaporation. It's the best 👍
What about the larvae. Why not use nematodes? You can treat everything when you mist, water your outside grounds, etc. If you have any potted plants with in a 150 foot circle. Try nematodes along with the bug zapper.
yes! I use these in the garden but I should be more diligent - It was a wet year for colorado so I was caught flat footed
5 yrs operating @mayasmushrooms and have yet to have any bug issues.. great video though
badge of honor! I haven’t had issues until
scaling to our new building and working out of tents but it’s going to morph into clean rooms again soon 🙏🏻🍄❤️
I use insect guard anytime i see a few i leave it out for a few days but i hate using chemicals ive been thinkin bout hangin a zapper luckily my grow and lab are in my basement so i have the air filtered quite well but those pesky things still show up time to time
Cute baby
I ran into the same thing, not sure if it works at your scale but I'll message you the recipe
Hungarian can also be added to the subtitles. Thanks
Look into the risks of front facing baby carriers.
I watched all my videos but unfortunately I don't know English. it would be nice if there were also Hungarian subtitles.
