    R. Et concepit de Spiritu Sancto.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostræ. Amen.
    V. Ecce Ancilla Domini.
    R. Fiat mihi secundum Verbum tuum.
    Ave Maria...
    V. Et Verbum caro factum est.
    R. Et habitavit in nobis.
    Ave Maria...
    V. Ora pro nobis, Sancta Dei Genetrix.
    R. Ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.
    Oremus: Gratiam tuam quæsumus, Domine,
    mentibus nostris infunde;
    ut qui, angelo nuntiante,
    Christi Filii tui Incarnationem cognovimus,
    per passionem eius et crucem,
    ad resurrectionis gloriam perducamur.
Per eumdem Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.
    English text
    V. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
    R. And she conceived by the power of Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
    V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
    R. Be it done unto me according to your Word.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
    V. And the Word was made flesh.
    R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
    V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
    R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may we by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection; through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

My prayer for the last 4 years along with daily rosary , prayer to Joseph and divine mercy chaplet at 3 pm and daily mass keeps me focused on Our blessed mother and Our Lord . Our Traditions are a beautiful thing and always focused on Christ and the Trinity . Thank you Father

That was nice, Father. Thank you. I tried to memorize this when I was a kid but had trouble; but apparently I did learn it because it came right back to me as soon as I started saying it again. Now I set my alarm to it. 🙏🙏🙏

I am coming to LOVE this prayer increasingly and thankful for that. Many lukewarm Catholics have no excuse today if weak in faith...we see the evil all around us propagated by our "woke" governments...time to STRENGTHEN AND PRACTICE OUR ONE TRUE FAITH, made so by God himself who instituted Christianity himself when he dwelt amongst us...and we, God's creation may thank God unceasingly for this and opening up heaven to us by his cross, death and resurrection. Pray for PURPOSE in life...which is to know, love and serve the Lord. Many laity used to serve God by raising good families for example with proper morality and values and faith instilled in our children. Today home schooling seems to be talked about more and more as society (schools) are usurping the authority and values of Christian parents.

Can you mail out this little card you mention, printed with the Angelus and Regina Ceili and meal prayers?

Thank you! It was also nice to hear a Catholic use the “Holy Ghost” form. It’s far more aesthetically correct.

Father, as a lay person, if you also pray the Office in the morning, at noon, and in the evening, would you pray the Angelus before or after the Office?
