Hello from Kansas City. It's still very dry here. Looks like I will spend the day watering my bushes with a good soak. Thank you for the information about the importance of plants needing good hydration going into winter. We too have a freeze warning for tonight.
Still looks fabulous. All my hostas got the Chelsea Chop. I pruned my moms who I’m visiting down. She has like 30 of them. Still have two in the back with dried irises. Then I’m done. We might snow… maybe on the weekend. 🥶🌿❄️

Yes it is a creeping sedum. I am not sure the variety, but unless you want it to take over everything I don't recommend it.
Noticed your verbena bonariensis wasn’t tall ones what variety are they? Looking for a medium height one.
I grew them from seed from botanical interest.
