FILM DESCRIPTION:
In 19th-century China, a stranger (RZA) settles in a jungle village and becomes its blacksmith. Radical tribal factions force him to fashion elaborate tools of destruction, and the clans' conflict soon erupts into a full war. Knowing he must take action, the blacksmith channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon. Fighting beside iconic heroes, the blacksmith harnesses this incredible power to defend his adopted people from an army of soulless villains.

As if Russel Crowe's performance wasn't amazing enough but Lucy Liu's laugh just sold the ending right there - Love those two!

To be fair for me he allways was Jack Knife is my favourite character from the movie and Russel was an absolute badass and a gentleman playing him

I remember when this came out i wasnt into Tarantino movies and i thought it looked dumb. Then i fell in love with his movies and saw this (around when the hateful 8 came out) and this is now in my top 3 movies of his.
Tarantino didn’t direct this though lol RZA directed it

I love how he went from perfectly reasonable calm soft spoken gentleman with refined tastes to psychopatic screaming mr. Knife :D

When I clicked on this video I thought it would be an awful clip that would cause constant cringing and the odd facepalm.
How wrong I was. Crowe is an absolute legend.
Oh, it's still a B-movie. But the best actors are the ones who never phone a role in, no matter how crud the script or direction.

Someone Chinese once told me to their tastes she is rather plain and ordinary looking. In other words not terribly attractive. He wasn’t kidding, although I was sure he was. So I asked a few other Chinese men who were born and raised in China or Hong Kong and for the most part they all said the same thing. We should have an exchange program for their plain and ordinary women, and in trade they can just take the entire west coast of North America.
What's even better is Russel isn't acting, its just Russel being Russel.
I was expecting something like "are you not entertained?!"

one of the best martial arts kungfu movies.... surley the best of modern age. watch it, it's worth it if you like martial arts movies.
