Seriously people? Do you know how much great information this video contain? I have to read the whole chapter to understand half of what she explains and you all are complaining about her voice instead of thanking her, what's wrong with you, your instructors get a shit load of money and don't even teach you shit, while she's doing it for free!
I totally agree… I honestly can’t wrap my head around how entitled people are lol. They come to a video someone posted for free and criticize everything.
THANK YOU for this wonderful tutorial, for the slides on Slide Share, and for the Quiz at Quizlet. I'm a dentistry student, and we have a materials module. Our prof was incoherently rambling about this cooling phase equilibrium diagram for two whole weeks (4 hours of lectures), and his lecture notes are totally incomprehensible. But this wonderful video explains it all in 16 minutes, clear and to the point. I'm very grateful to you for your efforts ! All the best ! XX
This was by far the most descriptive and clear video about phase diagrams I've seen! My finals are coming up and i just couldn't understand phase diagrams.. Well, not anymore. Thank you very much!
I usually don't comment on any youtube videos but I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the explanation in this and the next videos, it is all perfectly explained and thanks to you I finally get this part of the course :) Thank you so much!!
Best video I have found on this subject, looking at comments and ridiculous people moaning about excess background noise etc how pathetic appreciate the video for how easy and understandable it makes the subject matter.
I usually do not comment on RUclips videos, but I just wanted to say thank you and after more than 7 years this video u made is still helping students. You were great, thanks.
this is what we called the perfect way of making us to understand, thank you very much Miss, the presenter of the video. I wish all Physics lectures to be in this way of teaching, in simple way and perfect.
I was struggling so much with this until you mentioned the whole solubility limit thing. That just made everything click and was not mentioned in my book for some reason. Thank you so much for this amazing video.
Thanks for this, both my professor and the book neglected to mention that we were finding the chemical composition of the phase and not just the phase fraction, i assumed 100% concentrations as my prof never told me otherwise=)
I completely forgot how to deal with the lever rule buta after I watched this video I am able to recall everything. Thank you for the good explanation ✌🏾✌🏾
My lecturer honestly he is a theif in my university I can say it ,because he didn't lecture like this to me. Instead he introduced the topic and run away every time. Thank you very much Madam for the wonderful explanation...
I thought your video was very clear and well organized. Drawing on the phase diagram made it easy to follow your steps one-by-one. A way to improve future videos would be to talk about what the two phase regions physical look like as you move left to right. Such as at the 40% wt Sn the microstructure would have 2/3 solid B and 1/3 solid A. And as you move left or right you add or subtract more A and B respectively. Visualizing what it would physically look like is what helped me grasp phase diagrams.
Thank you very much..Very interesting. I have learn something that I have been struggling with for the past couple of months..Waiting for your next video..oh yeah pls give this woman a cup of water she derseves it
thanks for this helpful videos. I got couple of questions . First for the phase present for you the both were at the same region , how about if the temperature is at 220 c. Shall we right both locations ?
Im trying to understand the eutectic reaction. Is it correct to understand that no matter at which point the mixture is in the liquidus phase (i.e. 20% Sn) . That it will always cool at the 61.9% Sn point? Any clarification would be great.
You did in 16 minutes what my lecturer couldn't do in a week, thank you so much for the awesome vid!
Agree.
@KAOUTHER ACHOURI i think it cuz we can't focus on teacher during class lol
a week? a my university this was explained in a 1.5 hour lecture...
would someone plz give this great woman a cup of water!! thank you very much for the video
for real... all that freaking smacking
lmfao
hahahhaha, your comment just ruined the rest of the video for me
😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahaha

This video and how she calmly just explains and shows it to us is phenomenal.

What did u do?, My material exam will be tomorrow
simply supper n awesome wiz clear n lovly voice! I expended long hrs in class, but acquired v.few concept...Tnx a lot for all ur concern
Thanks for watching the video! We're going to start working on phase transformations next spring.
I was struggling so much with this until you mentioned the whole solubility limit thing. That just made everything click and was not mentioned in my book for some reason. Thank you so much for this amazing video.
Thank-you so much for taking the time to make these videos. I sincerely appreciate it!
Professor, Thank you!!! I think if I watch this video a couple more times I will understand "scary" phase diagrams!!!
Thank you for your help! Everything was simple, organized, and easy to understand!
I would like to say thanks to the one who makes this video. It really helps me to understand the phase diagram
Thanks for watching the video! We will be working on a ceramics video next spring.
I'm going to pass my final today because of your heroic work 8 years ago, THANK YOU!
The video is the most efficient explanation about this topic on youtube, thank you very much!
Gratitude from Africa, I am a first engineering student and the phase diagrams were killing. So thank you for making it so simple.
Whoever made this, thank you. Teaching stuff in 16 minutes that our school does in 2 hours.
Now that's how to explain phase diagrams. Practically saved me for finals. Thanks a lot!!
Would just like to give you a huge thanks. Got an A on my exam in Materials Science and Engineering thanks to your videos.
Thanks for this, both my professor and the book neglected to mention that we were finding the chemical composition of the phase and not just the phase fraction, i assumed 100% concentrations as my prof never told me otherwise=)
thank you for making this video! very straight forward and helped a lot
Just learned 2 hours of lecture from a 16 minute video thank you so much
Thank you so much for all of the 5 videos, they were extremely useful!
Am about to write a midterm tomorrow for my material science class. Because of you i'm probably gonna pass now. thank you
Because of this channel I have took 85 over 1pp in my midterm. Thank you so much
this video still the best in RUclips even after 8 years , it so sad that you won't continue explaining MC
I passed an exam with the help of your lecture, thank you so much.
I have a huge test on this stuff. You explained it much better than my professor! Thank you!
I completely forgot how to deal with the lever rule buta after I watched this video I am able to recall everything. Thank you for the good explanation ✌🏾✌🏾

Very good detailed explanation in short time . Thank you for your efforts.
Thanks for this nice demonstration, it's so clever and made phase diagrams easier to handle
Thank you so much for this video! I honestly would have failed my exam if it wasn't for your content!
Thank you so much for this awesome demonstration!
how about the point fall at the alpha + liquid region? do i have to calculate the Wliquid also? is it the same calculation i need to do?
You simplified the calculations. I now understand, i no longer need to cram the formula, so Thanks a lot. :-*
Clear, concise and quick. Thank you very much.
thanks a lot. I have a final tomorrow and you just made everything so simple. :)
You are very good at explaining things clearly... Thanks.
Thank you so much!!! This video helped me a lot. Thank you so much for the trouble you went through.
