From the PS2 to HD remaster they changed how the sniper aims, for the better. The camera used to be static and the aiming reticule would float around until it hits the edge of the screen, like a Wii game. Whereas the HD remaster feels like a modern game sniper sight.
I played lots of KZ2 and KZ3 back in the day when they were released. My mother (God bless her), bought me KZ2 when I was in 11th grade, back when it was 60 dollars brand new. I also got KZ3 a year after it released and LOVED the online. It was a shame that games like this got their servers taken down. There weren't that many people, but the several thousand that were playing were very passionate
Just wanted to leave a comment to say that your videos are pretty great! I like how chill but also pretty in depth they are ^_^ On a more related note I'm hoping that with the recent success of Sony's pc ports they consider putting these games on Steam as I've wanted to check out Killzone 2 for a while but never had a Ps3
Great video! I loved Killzone 2 growing up, but was underwhelmed when renting the first game, and never beat Killzone 3. I mostly remember constantly dying and being revived and then dying again in 3. It was just horrible and this video gave me flashbacks to young me being super frustrated lol. But Killzone 2, wow, I honestly think visually it still looks really good and I remember many of the multiplayer maps perfectly. I'd love to do Killzone 2 multiplayer again with a full lobby, it was very fun, and one of my first multiplayer experiences on console.
Warzone mode for KZ2 was my go-to for multiplayer at the time. Probably the only game I played online for a long time, and got me to drop TF2 and HL2:DM which were my mainstays during that era. That said, I remember KZ3 being a disappointment because the multiplayer reminded me more of the COD shooter. If I remember correctly, Resistance also did that, and was seriously disappointing since the co-op and multiplayer deathmatch modes were amazing for that series too before the shift.
1 psrewired has brought mp back for kz2. i reccomend joining us. 2. having played the game a lot recently i can say confidently that while its a lot of fun kz2 mp isnt as great as it seems and kz3 mp did fix some glaring problems the kz2 mp had like lag and some awful class weapon balance (looking at you assault class and sta18).
@@thecamobot i think even in 2 you can see how they become what they are Being held back by ISA/Vekta sanctions and their interest in Helghan's oil-i mean pretucite, so while yes the Helghast did the first move, they were being pressured by Vekta for centuries by that point, it was either do that, or go back to the status quo of famine and oppression
18:15 the problem with the sniper is that you can't turn it off. would have been really cool as a toggle. only real solution is using a controller without motion controlls.
Never heard of this so I just watched a bunch of lure videos and like an hour. It does say they attack humans but it doesn't say super Earth so it could have been a different encampment of humans. Glad to have them on our side, for now 🫡

Only ones I ever got to play was Killzone and Killzone Liberation on PSP but man did I love those gamea.
• You Really Had To Be There For Killzone Online On PS2‼️

"the Isa are the good guys and the hellghast are the bad guys and that doesn't really change"
Are you sure about that ?
Yeah I meant in the Trilogy specifically but I have heard they expand on it in the handheld games and Shadow Fall, need to check them out sometime

@@plaguedoctorjamespainshe6009 Hmm that's fair, I guess I felt like the main plot just made it feel that way
I relate to the characters in KZ1 cuz I too functioned better as a meat shield than an actual teammate

Just want to play these games on my ps5...
@camobot just curious, how old were you when Killzone 2 came out or what year did you play it to be nostalgic for it?
@@ichidonlee1512 I played it around 2010, I got a PS3 late when the slim was out and went back to play KZ2!
PS triple thoooo
The ad rate per minute of video makes no sense. Good vid tho
