Perfect, I have a single core that I need to have entry and exit on the same side for a rear mount radiator. I was relectant because I thought I'd have to weld that inner edge along the core.
This really did improve the cooling with the Champion brand radiator. Recently, I did this same modification with a Mishimoto brand radiator and while I did see further improvement in cooling while driving, over the modified Champion radiator, the cooling at idle actually got slightly worse with the Mishimoto radiator.
@@HeBeGB501 probably because the flow is less at idle. Thanks for the video! I was looking for a new rad and this mod might fit the ticket! I also own an ac/DC tig. The way my rad is for my 81 Camaro, I would actually be making it into a triple pass! Even better! I'm definitely doing this mod! Thanks
